Here is a shot of the play after sitting out all summer long. Another month the crew will be getting it out of the weeds and getting it ready for the winter season.

Ralph, nice shots of your train and layoutā¦
Shawn, that plow looks like itās sat there for yearsā¦ Itās great!!!
Shawn, didnāt you tell those weeds they had to be G Scale? When we had our three feet of snow in December it would have taken more than that nice-looking plow!
I love that plow!
I remember that was like one of your first posts Shawn!

I took some photos of my railroad, The Northwoods Branch of the PRR and thought Iād post them (If I can figure out how to do it) The railroad is now 3 years old. Most structures are scratch built during the winter. http://s229.photobucket.com/albums/ee27/thomastoo/2009%20photos/
John, I was looking at your pictures and I thought I would post some of the shots I personally liked. If this is not ok say so and I will pull them. You got a good looking RR and more pictures are desired!

I really like the cellar door, plumbing vent stack and the oil tank on the house! Great real world detail!
Great pictures everyone. Only a few more weeks and fall will be here. Keep them coming.
Fall fell officially, this morning in beautiful downtown Deer Park. Temp was 37F last night. Maple leaves are red and yellow, this morning.
Steve Featherkile said:Really, we are still in Summer here. Even if it is a little cooler than normal. 78 degrees now and got up to abpout 81. Pretty pleasent daya fter a soggy morning. Did get 17 miles in on the bikes. Business is already slowed so Labor Day Weekend is kind of a "no show".

Some schools are going to start this coming week and the bulletin board up at our local schools say mid-terms are on the 15th. Go figure.
Ric Golding said:Never try to figure the academicratic mind. Our Catholic schools started last week, because with Labour Day so late and all, it was the only way they could schedule all the PD days in before the end of the school year ... (Other school boards simply shifted a few PD days and will start tomorrow).

What is a PD day, Chris? Sounds like a boondoggle, to me.
Things were quiet on both the Sunny View Line and the PVRR over the holiday weekend. A few maint. workers around.

yes I know the story but didnāt realize you named it Bruntā¦āI like thatā
Nice pictures, Ralphā¦
Soā¦whenās the operating session?..
The pressure to add another contribution was overwhelming. Sunday I picked up the mess left behind by two torrential rainfalls and tree rats rebuilding their nest in the huge Maple that is above my layout. I also moved a large rock that Iāve been tripping over for two years up to the top of the wall to reinforce Coal Dump Curve. This morning I noticed the track around Coal Dump Curve was quite washed out, so I decided to add some rip-rap and ballast before running trains. As usual, the inspection crew went out the North Slope Southernās Track Cleaning / Track Inspection car. Today it was shoved by the C.V.S.Ryās freshly shopped GE 45 Tonner. Due to a fall from a bridge over a year ago, the entire frame had to be replaced. [url=lsc.cvsry.com/SummerRun2-001-1200.jpg]
