What materials are you all using to make streets & roads?
I have one street I will pour concrete so that it can be used as a walkway.
But I’m looking for something cheaper and easier for other roads and parking lots.
Ralph
Rolled roofing.

I just lay it on the ground. I walk on it.
I used the rolled roofing too. Lowe’s carries it in either black or white. Comes in a 3’ x 25’ roll…

The rolled roofing was my first thought. Just wondering if anyone was using anything different.

I had the durarock under my town in the middle but it only made it 2years so I don’t recommend it!
You could always make concrete roads. Just don’t forget all the scale joint lines
I think for the look and ease of use, both installing and removal to make changes, the rolled roofing ranks pretty high.
I used rolled roofing at the last house… it worked well… So far, most of my roads on the new layout are made of concrete step pads… Only problem with using concrete step pads, is making round corners… I considered just pouring concrete for the corner areas… Still haven’t made up my mind…
I got the gray rolled roofing and used that for the roads… The back was black, so I just turned it over, where I wanted asphalt looking parking lots…
Roads, whats a road. The KMRR just bushwack from point A to point B.
Roads are for girls.

Too funny Ralph. But living in the backwoods of Jersey does that to a fella. I suppose.

LOL the Pineys live in the Pine Barrens of NJ. We also call them 609ers for the area code down their. Then North East Jersey has the Jackson Whites (Ramapos) There is plenty open country in Northwest Jersey. We had a yellow single engine plan go down in Hamburg Mt. Took a few weeks before they found it. Here is beautiful Northwest NJ
