Looks like a cool build, I did one back when I was a kid and installed fiber optics for lighting and mounted it on a lamp stand. Its seen better days but I just went and dug it out and it’s going to need a bit of TLC to get it back into shape.

On the Galaxy Class it was just a sunroof made of ‘;transpartent aluminium’ … on the Constitution Class the domes both covered sensor arrays…
and you know, I have picked up lots of tips and techniques that I use from doing stuff in other scales/genres…I kinda consider myself a Model Builder, some sit on a shelf and look pretty, some fly, some run on rails…
