So twice tonight I tried getting onto St Aubins site and McAfee shut me down “back door trojan” Have no issues anywhere else? Anyone else try the site tonight and if no virus protection is installed don’t try it until confirmed that I’m a nut or it’s their site?
Newp…was looking at On30 rolling stock earlier this evening…no problems…
Wonder why it’s only with their site…that’s just great! Now I gotta figure out what’s going on!
Might try a different browser. I use Firefox all the time.
Dave, I use McAfee on an XP box. I just browsed St Aubin using both Firefox and IE7, no worries.

Yes,
I have had trouble with St Aubins as well.
Now I just stay away from it.

their site…
Is the only safe way in through the use of LySOL? They do advertise that it Kills Virus on contact
If you subscribe to Team Large Scale, and pay the fee, do they offer to remove the Trojan?
When did this start?? I got 1 when I visted there site… I think I would avoid there site until they come clean & say what it is… May be they should go back to there old site & leave LSOL… Need to make a statement in the model magazines… Will not go back until I see it in print that it is fixed…

What a bunch of horse puckey…
You are all right - I saw it pop up…don’t click on any of these links in this thread.- I am just informing what I found. I went to look at the GP38s to see if I could duplicate some pop up…Yep!
Abbreviated link => …ww.adxtn.com. Some crap…Ankur India. I don’t think it is necessarily a Trojan but it pops up allright. It is on other sites as well. The re-direct may take you to some other site…and that is were a download may jump in…I didn’t stay long enough to find out.
Look at the url of the popup that CAME from the St. Aubin website…definitely CRAP and DON’t click on the below…I modified it slightly so it is NOT a real link…
What garbage. Man St Aubins is going downhill…
Pffft.
Has anyone actually called them and reported it?
If so, what’s their answer?
I believe someone on this site had said they had tried to contact unsure of how contact was made, but they said there was NO RESPONSE. I have never done business with them, tried once but had a bad experience, so I have no need to contact, as I just use for Price points and checking items to compare, have always found a better deal elsewhere.

We were aware of the redirection issue at St Aubin Site when several people contacted us about it. We found a hand full of individual records had a redirect scipt and we removed the code. I am sorry that the web master did not respond to your emails.
Should anyone stumble across a lingering presence we would like to know ASAP.
In the past we may not have responded to you in a timely fashion or maybe even not at all. For that we apologize. In the future if you believe our web site is functioning abnormally please email [email protected] and we will respond to you very quickly

Anyone check out their site lately…
Yeah.
You see who the new Customer Service Manager is?
And, only order through lysol?
I will find a replacement retailer.
