Sophira the car is no more

A sad day. I was waiting at a traffic light behind a big gray Kia when a big gray Honda hit from behind hard enough to push the front of my car under the Kia.

May your day be less eventful than mine.

(Madam Mallet is still in the trunk. Last I saw her, she was upside down and parts that usually don’t show were showing.)

Hope your okay. Hope the Mallet is okay. Sorry for the bad start to the day.

Ouch, man that is bad news! Hope you and Madam M are okay.

hope your ok… (and had insurance)

Not good for a lady to be upside down and showing parts. Hope she is recuperating comfortably and will be back to her normal self soon.
Will there be a memorial for Sophira?

As long as you are ok Tom everything else can be repaired or replaced…hopefully with insurance monies?

Chas

Ouch. I hope you’re doing ok. I always have my fingers crossed when we go somewhere. Only 20 percent of California drivers are insured!

"Only 20 percent of California drivers are insured! "

That certainly seems like a problem that should have been handled, yesterday. Crossing your fingers doesn’t really change much, except your ability to catch or throw.

Doug where did you get that stat?

I read that in CA its gone from 18% up to 20% being UN-insured during the recession. Granted thats still a heckofalot and it gets higher in the poorer parts of the state but I have a hard time thinking that 80% dont carry insurance given the still large #'s of new or nearly new Caddies, Benz’s, Acura’s and Lexi I see driving around down here.

83.4% of all statistics are made up.

No, they are fudged.

fudge can be good… is it chocolate or white??? with or without nuts???

Andy this is a web site comprised of mostly ol’ guys playing with trains, so I would have to say with nuts.

I prefer peanut butter

Peanut butter??? yuckers

I’ll have mine without nuts.

It seems it’s now a matter for 2 insurance companies to work out.

I’m impressed with that Odyssey. After totally restyling Sophira’s backside, the Odyssey had a bent license plate. Sophira left her mark on the Kia’s bumper, but I think it would just polish out. What the Honda left unmashed, the Kia took care of. The doors and roof are still intact.

Those are all the snow birds that own them Vic.

How many air bags blew in the Kia?

That fact is true only 92.2 % of the time (approximately).
