Yea its tough on the southern states when they get snow. My sister, brother in law and niece from VA are up here looking at colleges. A bit of a shock to their systems, it 10AM and we’re up to 3F. Only about 8-10" of snow but colder than a witch’s thorax.

The mets were correct they just got the locations wrong. The storm started taking a more Northeast track. Its hard to predict storms like this. It always becomes nowcast. (wait until it startes and see what it does) Areas that were suppose to see more snow will now get less and areas that were going to get less are getting more like VA. Its even started to hit south Jersey and PA and it was never suppose to come up this way. Once the low hits the waters the precip shield is getting larger. I might even see something from this now. I need a job were I can be wrong and not get fired. LOL

Very cool. I spent all day shoveling the driveway. What was light, fluffy snow yesterday turned into wet heavy snow today. I guess I need to buy a snow shovel and build a plow for the GRR. Ralph

Ralph that is some nice scenery in the background. I love the . Western part of NC. Maybe one day I will end up their. Only 20 more years till retirment LOL Im not rushing it though.
