I once had a boss that would post a new schedule and then would go on vacation for the next two weeks. By the end of the two weeks, most every one had adjusted to the change. Worked that way for years, that was a management style I decided not to use.

Bob…I support what you are trying to do…but please…don’t screw it up like has been happening at other places.
Retain the old , and test the new, so that if the new goes belly up, the old can be quickly, again be substituted…I have faith in you, Bob…but things can happen…

Ps a little more info, I do consider myself a good lookin guy but when it comes to computers I know just enough to get by. Other web sites i go to have a video upload button that makes things easy. I dont know how simple or hard it would be to ad to this site, but I would be grateful.

I don’t have any real issues with the current site, and I am sure you will be doing your best to make the new one just as friendly, I do have a question.
Is there a way when posting pictures to post two tall narrow pics side by side? I tried once with a logical method that didn’t work, and decided to ask the question instead of poking around with edits. Thanks,

You’re not uploading a video, just posting a link to a YouTube video.
It works the best when you view your video from your video manager page and pull the URL from there. Then it doesn’t have the extra garbage in the URL.
But maybe Bob can work it out with the new software so the video is automatically embedded when you post the URL. Like on Facebook.

Yea, took me awhile to figger that out. And a lot of editing and re editing…
Maybe Youtube needs a button to share it on “LSC”…
More work porting to the new site. Some of you have multiple accounts on the same email. Part of moving to the new software will be to de-duplicate accounts with the same email. So, I will be taking the account with the LATEST activity. i.e. if you have one account that hasnt been used in a year, and one you use every day, ONLY the one you use every day will get moved. I will no longer accept multiple accounts using the same email.
Moving all our accounts over Bob sounds like a big job. Too bad we couldn’t help. Maybe yuu are better off without our help tho.

The neatest part about this upgrade? it is unobtrusive … so far no relearning how to do this or that. I’ve seen “we got a new design” often enough to appreciate this.
