The weeds have over run the GRR and I’ve had to mow the grass two weeks in a row. I missed the Cherries and Flaming Red Peach blooming while I was in York. Here is a few from the front yard that I didn’t miss. Ralph
Ralph those are some pretty and colorful blooms you have going, but your camera was pointed a mite high to see the trains. Were the goats loose and butting you?
Very nice! We can’t have displays here like that because of severe pest infestation. When I find a good effective and toxic deer spray we’ll try some flowering trees and plants.
Thanks for the breath of Spring photos though. It’s been hailing here off and on all day.
Thanks Ralph… now my sinuses are acting up…
Bout all we got bloomin so far are the 2 Magnolias. Course, tis a bit early yet…
Andy, ya better sneak over to Ralph’s and get a bouquet for Jane. Never hurts to butter up SWMBO.

May I recommend a Remington 12 Gauge Deer Gun? I find that those tend to discourage the deer from eating your petunia’s.
Just remember: Shoot, Shovel, Shut-up.
Check the mountain ridge from the kitchen window two hours ago, looked like snow! Checked the webcam up at the XC ski area, yep it’s snowing!
Between that and the windstorm on the weekend - are you kiddin?, I haven’t started cleaning up the mess of needles from winter yet - you sure can tell, Spring is just around the corner.
Oh yeah and Super Train coming up, too. Between that and the first run of the Rocky Mountaineer (April 23rd ) I sense a real snow storm in the near future.

Great pictures Ralph. You are a lot farther ahead then me. No flowers yet but starting to get some buds and the grass is green. My layout looks barren still. Although lowes just started to get some plants in so I got a few things to plant with color.
The town here is blossoming incredibly …might have to jack up Ralphs thread a bit this week!

I don’t have enough land to bury all the varmints on nor a long enough lifespan left to eat 'em all! It would supply some nice target practice for the 30/30 though.
Its not spring untill Ric has his ops and Andy is MIA from consalidated so the line backs up to seaweed and cat dump.
Seems more like summer than spring, if it is this hot now, I can only imagine how hot it will get the summer.
I got these shots tonight …hard to believe you guys were just here a week and 1/2 ago and what has popped up. The tulips and bleeding heart are blooming and the Magnolia is in full bloom even though the evening shot does it no justice and it will only last about two weeks.

Ralph,
The Bradford Pear trees are in full glorious bloom here in Wichita, KS. I thought you might want to know about your old stomping grounds.
