Show us what you Xmas train looks like

We all LIKE to see photo’s of what you did with you trains around the Christmas tree. Didn’t see any one post any yet. Can you add to our post? Here is ours so far.

This is a start on ours. Still more boxs of stuff to go thru yet.

TO ALL…

From Noel & Jane

Looks great Noel…the cats like it too.

My wife doesn’t like me to set up a train around the Christmas tree. I did anyway, a couple of years ago.
I had to listen to endless complaining, that there was no room for the Christmas gifts.
As I’m older and I’d like to think, wiser, I now try to avoid most issues that might bring about complaints

I hope by next Christmas the GRR will be in good enough shape to decorate for Christmas.
Until then, I hope a lot of folks post pictures of their Christmas Trains, for me to enjoy.
Thanks Noel

I don't know about that ;) Last year we barely had room to walk past the tree :) We have a big family. Between the tree and the packages, it eats up about 10' x 10 of the Family room.' Ralph

Trestle Ralph…Big one!

Invariably the same train just different locations

Do these classify as ‘Indoor’ Garden RR’s?

Paul

Here is mine. I like to keep it simple. Basic loop around the tree using my Kalamazoo set. My 3 year old will run is Thomas as well. Before G scale I had my dads old lionel running around the tree.

Well, being a Franco-Irish bunch, Christmas trees have never been one of our family traditions, but that’s OK with us. Christmas certainly is, and the Baby Jesus, and onion soup by firelight when we get home after Midnight Mass, and toy trains as well, of course. So here’s a Christmas Card to all fellow LSC 'ers everywhere, from the great Canadian outdoors in our backyard. Peace On Earth to everyone!

Love that train of your’n, Shawn… I’m a big K’zoo fan myself, and Victor, your Christmas train is really special! Noel - your Birthday Dec 25? My wife’s is, her name Noelle…

We went with a simple ho scale point to point, som my daughter, age 8, can run her thomas the tank engine stuff back and forth and put houses where ever she wants without taking over the floor. Plus we have two new kittens in the house and enough is enough. I built the benchwork out of scrap and designed it so that it’s’ held in place without being attached to anything. Some of the freight cars come from a set my dad bought the year I was born, 1959.

I’ve got a picture from last Christmas in my freight shed, but don’t know how to get it here. It’s a five foot circle of track set up for a tree to set in the middle. I run mostly a trolley and a NPS critter.

Dick - First, ya gotta go back to yr confuser and give the thing a one-word name, then click on ‘my files’ just below where you write here, then I think yr instincts will take you the rest of the way. Briefly, you browse and upload that renamed pic. from your confuser to your ‘My Files’ here, then click on the file in yr “my Files” and allow access to yr clipboard. Then just paste the puppy into your message. Good luck, ol’pal. Hope to meet you for real someday!
