I would guess that is the screw feed for the coal.
03/29/10 - 1627 - We got home about 2 pm. Andy and Jane still had a 1/2 hour in front of them. What a great weekend. Started with a walk around the EBT on Thursday and ended with a lunch at the Russell’s in Mechanicsburg. It was a great time and we’ll post pictures and stories as time allows. Thanks all for stopping by at the Alcove and the Timesaver. Those that didn’t make it were very much missed.

Dave M. Ralph and I spent sat morning at the B & O Museum. I had a family function later in the day and couldn't make it back to the show so I missed the bunch that showed up on Sat.http://s253.photobucket.com/albums/hh58/rgseng/B%20and%20O%20Museum/
The shots are bitchin’ but this past weekend didn’t work for me considering all the other activity. We need to get together for another trip there. nice shots Ken you (grouchy ole’ bastard)
It will be greatly appreciated if pictures of the B&B/Party, can be posted, along with a list of who attended, for those of us unable to attend. Thank you in advance. It would also be nice to hear comments on the “Board Room” venue…was it appropriate…large enough…etc. ? I’m asking in case I’m able to attend next year. If I can; I’ll reserve it again.

I had my camera, but never took it out of the case. I was too late for around the table introductions, but the attendance was very good, standing room only when I arrived. All the usual suspects; Bart, Bob, Bruce & Jean, Gary, Ric & Jan, Ralph Berg and myself. I’m sure I missed at least two or three, including some guys from upstate NY that popped in.
The room was nice. The big board-room table worked great for displaying the drags, and the round-the-table seating worked out well for the bragging. The location was the best - right off the elevator.
In true Branch Railroadian fashion, Dave Russel contacted the Troegs Brewery in Harrisburg (he works on the owner’s cars) and requested some complementary refreshments. The brewery came through with two cases of craft brew beer in assorted varieties that were well received by the discriminating crowd. Unfortunately, Dave could not attend. Bart made sure there was a supply of Honey Brown for ceremonial purposes.
Thanks for making it happen. Your presence was missed. We tried to at least get you connected by phone, but you were to busy to take the call
I’ve got a few. I wish I had taken more, but got too involved in the conversation. It went by all too fast. Great fun.

I didn’t take attendance, so I can’t tell you everyone that was there. The room was quite nice, but probably a tad small for the crew we had there.
Well, I see a few I missed in my list - Andy Clarke, Bob Temper & ??? From the Gateway club - Paul Norton & Ralph from OVGRS. The guy standing behind me was one of the drop-ins.
Why do I always seem to be making a point with my right hand?
Bob its because the left one was looking for a beer

THAT IS A GREAT SHOT ALL AROUND! Ken doesn’t have a camera thats a mini DVD player and he’s watching Sesame Street reruns see the smirk. Cookie monster just named the letter of the day.
That Invasion was the first time Bruce and I talked about single-operator operations. You can’t tell from that picture, but we were in agreement!
“…but this past weekend didn’t work for me considering all the other activity. We need to get together for another trip there”
There is the Fall ECLSTS ! Which I personally wish was mid-Sept. as then it would be more doable (with requisite funding) .

Nice pictures, Ken.
Your indoor shots turned out much better than mine did.
Very strange. I took quite a few photos of the GRR that “disappeared”

Dang. Just checked all my pictures and Bart is right. I don’t have a single picture of him. How did this happen?
