What a great looking building and the details are really going to make your build amazing.
Installed the scales and started signs… camera died, more pics tomorrow…
Those scales came out great.
Thanks Devon, it was fun trying to figure out how to make them…
The scales look really great. But, have you had them certified by the PUC, division of weights and measures?(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Started weathering, got the smoke jack on and started crate labels.
Scott, this has turned out to be one fine build. Fantastic job.

Up until just recently scales (and gas pumps) in Idaho were certified by a state brand inspector. I knew one, he almost never inspected a brand, but came by once a year to certify our scales.
I would have never guessed in a million years that smoke jack was made from a freezer basket.
DONE!!!

This is the kind of build that makes voting freaking impossible.
edit: making? really?

…Wait a minute … I’m trying to find the right words … Oh, I got it … WOW and WOW!!! Nuff said (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)
Extremely well done!
An excellent build Scott, just over the top, no pun intended.
Scott,
Just looked at the glamour shots. Outstanding. Great attention to detail. Thanks for jumping in this year.
While we’re here, I’d like to put a good word in for Scott. He recently customized a caboose of mine with special attention to detail. The paint and decals look great - like it just came off the production line. Next he’ll be doing a couple of tank cars for me. I highly recommend Scott at Johnson Flats Locomotive Works for customizing G-scale trains!
Oh okay, I see now why it is such an outstanding building. While it is his first time in the challenge, he really is a Pro. Just kidding. I looked at your Facebook page. You do some excellent work as we have seen displayed here. Now I am even more glad you are on board, I can rob steal borrow some of the techniques of a talented modeler.
If you have any questions on how I do stuff let me know… I get a lot of great ideas on this site. Everybody here is really helpful and i have gained alot of knowledge on how to do things.
