Finally. On the 1:20.3 plastic cars only, looks like. And the 1/29 plastic stuff.
Click the “sort by” and chose “stock status” option.
Found an “In-store” option - where the heck is the “In-stock” one?
Nice catch. Nice prices! $50 for a boxcar, tankcar, or reefer is not too shabby.

$40 for some of those 1:29 PS-1 cars is a very tempting price but I really don’t need anymore boxcars

Thanks
can anyone tell me why I am up-sizing HLW Flats to Fn3 ($16+ parts and labor) when I could have gotten them for $29 from RRS…always one step behind!

Cause it’s more phun to build than buy.
John Bouck said:Very true, it is a blast to build your own stuff. However I did succumb and bought both a boxcar and a reefer.

Heck I’ve seen the reefer trucks go for $45 just by themselves, and that’s what I paid for the reefer.
Those are the kind of bargains I had always hoped to see at ECLSTS, but never did.

Currently my Kidz and Biz are running me ragged (more biz than kids)…so instant gratification with a purchase would please the outer man…but I know someday I’ll get around to finishing all that I have started and the reward will far out shine the investment (kids more than biz)…!

When the passenger cars go on sale, let me know (then remind me that I still haven’t finished the interior on the one I bought last year ). Those are great prices, though.

If you see the Accucraft Porter on there for $150, let me know, I’ll risk the divorce

I got my two cars today. That’s pretty quick shipping, but the real surprise was that shipping and handling was only $11.62. Hard to beat that price.
Bruce Chandler said:Ridge Road has always shipped my orders within 24 hours. I made the mistake of ordering from another dealer this weekend. Ridge Road didn't carry what I was looking for. I got an e-mail today........my order will ship in 6-8 weeks  From here on, if Ridge Road doesn't have it.......I don't need it. Ralph

I was going to scratch build a couple more boxcars, but then I saw that Accucraft couplers were going for $9 these days. The Aristo-Delton trucks that I use are $17 a pair. Man, that’s already up to $26! I usually replace the wheels with Sierra Valley 24", and I hate to think what they’re up to these days.
So, instead I ordered some AMS flatcars for $30 each. I figure that these will make great bases for my boxcars and all of the underbody detail (that I usually don’t do) is already done, and is probably more square than any of my efforts.
OK, so I’m not building from scratch…I guess I’ll just bash these.
Now thats a neat tweak. Get the couplers, trucks, wheels, underbody, and an already-sized frame. Hmm…
Hard to beat, isn’t it?
OK good idea! - Don’t buy them all… I need some of my eBay stuff to sell so I can order a couple
