Shawn,

the bickering and the video are in the same category - a bit juvenile.

PS as always strictly my opinion!

Well like you and your crew have always preached if you don’t like it then don’t read it …move on nothing to see here! Right?

Fred never said you have 40 hoppers. It was a metaphor.
The post wasn’t a reply to your post. It just happened to be next.

Oh I was stating an inconvenient fact, was I?

Those with the unique ability to be able to read will see that Fred has combined my posting as regards my disposing of my Aristo rolling stock and locomotives (I stated that I had forty plus Classic rolling stock) and Greg’s comment as regards ATSF 2-bay hoppers on ‘sale’(?). There was nothing wrong with the Aristo items other than minimal consumer demand thus low financial return (actually a loss). They did not suit my purpose.

As usual with every Aristo thread there is a concerted effort to derail it. Some derailing is malicious (you know who you are and so do I!!!) and some is simply well meaning in maintaining a friendly atmosphere (you know who you are).

I just let them derail…then point it out and kick 'em down the track a bit.
They’ll keep derailing until they pass the station marked “Wait Until Next Week”.

Little 0-6-0 pulling seven heavyweights is impressive …helps to have that chunky GP pushing from the rear

The live steam Thomas can pull our train with seven cars without a helper diesel, I have seen Thomas drag a diesel.

Sounds like Thomas needs a sound card installation !

Ralph,

That Thomas is an impostor! He doesn’t haul cars as large as that. I know, I have seen him many times when he visited my Heritage line.

On a serious note, however, it is good to see how much loved he is in your Country. He probably will be the only train many kids see.

Thanks Tim… this is appropriate to re-post for the derailers… who seem to be the same people who should stop reading the thread.

I know that the Aristo allegiance is mobilized from the command center based on what is posted. Scott Polk has told me personally that his staff would read every one of my posts to keep abreast of the need for any action.

He certainly does.
I wish it had been the “live steam” Thomas Chris referred to.

BTW Greg.
Thomas is a money maker in all scales.
Had Lewis got his hands on the Thomas line, we may not have been discussing the last chapter in the history book of Aristocraft
Ralph

Greg,
alas, most newcomers would not be aware of Aristo’s continuing plot to derail any negative comment on their product line. This plotting goes back at least ten years and many who have achieved the distinction of being a ‘whiner’ and now lately termed a ‘hater’ would be aware of both Lewis’s personal scorn when cornered and the wrath of the henchmen, originally confined to the manufacturer site but now all media.

Perhaps as Aristo-Nauts they get special cookies and extra discount points on purchases for service above the call of duty. Maybe they get open house tickets to Lewis’s condo in Florida. Several on this site must be generals in Lewis’s band of brothers.

Can I get another bag of popcorn please. This thread is getting better than Abbott & Costello’s “Who’s on First”

That was a good one Vic. Goes to show you, you should always scout out a trail first lol…
I sure hope this thread goes on forever. Im having so much fun…

Any idea why I can’t get any sound playing utube? I have symbol of speaker with an X next to it in the bottom left hand corner, and I can’t click on it to change. Apparently I’m stuck in “mute”?

Lou,
I had a similar problem. I logged onto You-tube and they informed me my You-tube name was not ‘trendy’ enough and advised me to change it to get more attention. I advised them I was happy with the name and kept it. When I tried to use You-tube there was no sound. At first I thought that my old computer had failed, then I noticed the mute ‘X’ on the volume. Fortunately, I was able to reactivate it. I had never seen the volume muted previously. This occurred only a couple of days ago.

Lou,

Don’t click on the speaker icon, instead, point at the speaker icon click and drag the volume slider to the right.
