Ralph,

That Thomas is an impostor! He doesn’t haul cars as large as that. I know, I have seen him many times when he visited my Heritage line.

On a serious note, however, it is good to see how much loved he is in your Country. He probably will be the only train many kids see.

Those with the unique ability to be able to read will see that Fred has combined my posting as regards my disposing of my Aristo rolling stock and locomotives (I stated that I had forty plus Classic rolling stock) and Greg’s comment as regards ATSF 2-bay hoppers on ‘sale’(?). There was nothing wrong with the Aristo items other than minimal consumer demand thus low financial return (actually a loss). They did not suit my purpose.

As usual with every Aristo thread there is a concerted effort to derail it. Some derailing is malicious (you know who you are and so do I!!!) and some is simply well meaning in maintaining a friendly atmosphere (you know who you are).

Thanks Tim… this is appropriate to re-post for the derailers… who seem to be the same people who should stop reading the thread.

I know that the Aristo allegiance is mobilized from the command center based on what is posted. Scott Polk has told me personally that his staff would read every one of my posts to keep abreast of the need for any action.

Sounds like Thomas needs a sound card installation !

He certainly does.
I wish it had been the “live steam” Thomas Chris referred to.

BTW Greg.
Thomas is a money maker in all scales.
Had Lewis got his hands on the Thomas line, we may not have been discussing the last chapter in the history book of Aristocraft
Ralph

Greg,
alas, most newcomers would not be aware of Aristo’s continuing plot to derail any negative comment on their product line. This plotting goes back at least ten years and many who have achieved the distinction of being a ‘whiner’ and now lately termed a ‘hater’ would be aware of both Lewis’s personal scorn when cornered and the wrath of the henchmen, originally confined to the manufacturer site but now all media.

Perhaps as Aristo-Nauts they get special cookies and extra discount points on purchases for service above the call of duty. Maybe they get open house tickets to Lewis’s condo in Florida. Several on this site must be generals in Lewis’s band of brothers.

Can I get another bag of popcorn please. This thread is getting better than Abbott & Costello’s “Who’s on First”

That was a good one Vic. Goes to show you, you should always scout out a trail first lol…
I sure hope this thread goes on forever. Im having so much fun…

Any idea why I can’t get any sound playing utube? I have symbol of speaker with an X next to it in the bottom left hand corner, and I can’t click on it to change. Apparently I’m stuck in “mute”?

Lou,
I had a similar problem. I logged onto You-tube and they informed me my You-tube name was not ‘trendy’ enough and advised me to change it to get more attention. I advised them I was happy with the name and kept it. When I tried to use You-tube there was no sound. At first I thought that my old computer had failed, then I noticed the mute ‘X’ on the volume. Fortunately, I was able to reactivate it. I had never seen the volume muted previously. This occurred only a couple of days ago.

Lou,

Don’t click on the speaker icon, instead, point at the speaker icon click and drag the volume slider to the right.

Drag the volume thing to the right of the x/speaker. If yu turn that up the x disappears.

It’s a battle between the derailers and re-railers.

Bob McCown-Deleted fake site. Not here.

Hey, Bob! It’s THIS thread again!
And again!
And again!

Like the Energizer Bunny…the polks that won’t quit.

Are we having fun yet!

Ad Infinitum Nauseum.

You people…I just cannot believe how hateful you are. How you keep picking on our benefactor, Lewis.
He is such a gentleman, there is never anything his company has made that has ever had a problem.
If you claim there are, you are just picking on Lewis.

All of the Aristo locomotives I have have never given me a moments trouble…ever (and that is the Honest-To-God truth).
I’ve never even had any problems with my wide radius switches. Any vintage.
How can you pick on them?

You need to stop with the rumours. Lewis said they were all untruths.

We love Lewis (and won’t you please build me an MEC SD-9?)
Please?

(In the meantime, I still need hoppers…and that GG1 would be nice…)

Wow, really?

Greg,
that link is naughty!!! The last photograph where you state look carefully in the background. Is that you and Navin discussing another ‘problem’? Look carefully at Lewis talking to the guy to his left. A basic understanding of body language shows Lewis is totally disinterested in the conversation and out of his ‘comfort zone’. Notice the mass of the body directed away from the person he is talking to. Notice the hands in the pockets. Both signs point to complete disinterest. Maybe the guy is trying to tell Lewis about a ‘small’ problem with his latest purchase.

There is a saying the more you stir the pot the more that comes to the surface.

Edit: what the derailers do not seem to understand is that if they kept quiet the thread would die out within two or three pages. The attempts to derail actually result in more total postings.
