Sorry guys,
but I’m done with my albums and freight sheds. I’m trying to load pics to show you guys my projects and neither one works.
It never has been easy for me.

John, here’s a picture out of your freight shed. I sent you a message.

Geezze, and the old guys preach patience?

Oh quite the opposite, Rooster. The older: less patience.
And also ease of use.
I have no idea how to operate my wife’s new Nissan Pathfinder. Way too much electronic crap on it.
I’m seriously thinking about getting a flip phone.
And don’t get me started on the new fangled voice remote for the TV!

No pics=it didn’t happen (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
I put a pic in my freight shed.
It shows it is imported successfully.
I try to open it to get the code and it says
THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT SUPPORTED.
So boys, I’m going to clean up what few pics are left and delete it all.
I would gladly support Bob with an annual fee, but it must work for me.
All my other web sites where I can post pics, it’s just drag and drop, and the pic is there.
If there is anyone here that runs a Mac with Catalina OS, and Safari browser and can successfully get pics to post, please tell me -
step by step - what and how you do it.

John, the Freightsheds will let you upload any kind of file. I have put PDFs in their so they can be downloaded, but not displayed. A non-displayable file type will get you the NOT message.
I suspect your file extension is not .jpg or .jpeg. Sometimes just editing the file name before you upload (e.g. to “picture.jpg”) will cause it to work.
I did find your DSCN1660.jpeg which doesn’t want to display. Was that it?

What projects are you currently working on ? Pictures do not matter to some as they would rather talk about their project because they refuse to post pictures.
Listen to John Passaro, he can figure it out and explain it to you so you can post pictures , hell , I figured it out so you should have no problem,
By the Way, Bob is working on a new version of this web site and one thing I think he said was a huge priority is drag and drop for pictures. So if you can’t get this figured out give it a short rest and BD will have us all dragging and dropping pictures
I’ll calm down and wait for Bob’s new software. No problem.
John - It’s a Mac thing. A bit more complicated then with a PC for this website software. I’m pretty sure Doug Arnold got it figured out a while back, but he hasn’t posted pics in a while, so things may have changed. Maybe he will see this - or you can reach him FB.
Calling Dr. Doug Arnold ( Master Gardner) please pick up line one !!

Rooster, I just saw your messages with John. I am off my 2 year hiatus and haven’t tried pictures yet. I will get adventurous and give it a try the next couple days!

Hey John,
I use a Mac that still uses Mojave. Seems to work every time for me. Catalina is a PITA and I will NOT load it into my Mac.
I haven’t done pics in a few months, but let me see if I can do it now.
OKAY John, it does work and I have been away for a while. It really is very easy, even with a Mac.
Here are the step I just took to post this photo.
Open up a tab for the post you want to add photos too.
Open a second tab showing your Freight Shed
A) Click on Freight Shed and you will see a list of everyone’s files.
B) Click on Manage My Folders (The center tab on this list). This will open YOUR Freight Shed.
C) Click on the photo you want to insert on your post.
D) RIGHT click on the photo (anywhere) and pick Copy Image Address.
E) Go back to the post where you want to insert the photo and find the icon that looks like a small mountain (labeled insert photo). A dialog box will pop-up and then you RIGHT click and paste the image address in
top box in the dialog box. The image size should automatically appear when you click the photo size box. Usually 800X600. OR thereabouts. Not that fussy.
F) Your image should now be in your post.
Sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. A couple of times and you will have it done easily.
Good luck.
Gary, I do all of that until I get to step D.
I get a notice that says: THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT SUPPORTED.
No matter what I do. I’ll play around a little and see what I can do. Maybe another type of file is needed, instead of jpg.
I’m not a geek or savvy enough to do this. I need a twelve year old Mac user. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Hey John,
I hear you. RIGHT click on the file name (OUTSIDE of LSC) and check the properties of the file you are trying to insert. It definitely should work with jpg or even gif. OR the file could be corrupt for some reason. Resave it in your computer and try it again. It’s something very simple, I’m sure. Rick Marty was the guy that helped me. Send him a message and see what he says. Personally, I think your file is corrupt for some reason. JMO.
