pawn shop

While going through an old GR Mag, I came across an ad for an outfit called Stoneworks. They deal in cut stone for the garden railroader. Since the GR that I was reading was from 1998, I figured the odds of them still being in business were slim and none, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Son of a gun, the website still works. www.rrstoneworks.com. If Lowes can’t help you, perhaps they can.

Steve, the mill I built last year was from Stoneworks. I bought the plans and the water wheel from them. They also sell windows and doors.

And a fine mill it is, too. I was just surprised that they are still in bidniss after all these years, since so many of the firms listed in that issue have gone into the waste bin of history. They show some fine models buildings.

This is very nice design and your pictorial tutorial was really fun to follow.
If you do a pawn shop. A NRA sign would be very appropiate, since most
pawn shops deals in firearms.
Thanks for posting

Nice job, Ken!

Someone ought to open a shrimp restaurant called “The Prawn Shop”.

Was there an NRA back in the 40’s?

Ray I don’t need any more ideas…

Looks very cool! Nice work Ken!
