Large Scale Central

Part the Second; Off the dirt

Tomorrow morning at this time I’ll be lining up for the stress test, then between 2 and 4 in the afternoon I call to find out the time of my operation the next day…

I’m half at ease and half terrified. (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)

John, we will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Try to think of this as a kitbash, John. And you are in the hands of master modelers (though their administrative help is a bit suspect it seems). Best of luck!

You’ll do fine. I’ll WILL be thinking of you! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

John, they are getting better at this stuff all the time, I was amazed at what they can do now.

We are pulling for you… ditto what Joe said… I get a good feeling for the outcome.

Greg

Thanks guys … it’s all in me head…

For all the snafus, my case was expedited, so I’m feeling lucky in that regard. To excise there can’t be any spread, time is important.

The other day a nurse from Anesthesia tried her best to help me, although she wasn’t in the loop. I was agitated, to say the least, at the end of the conversation she closed with the standard ‘Thank you for your patience’. I said “Oh no! I know me and you needed a lot more than me. Thank you for yours!”

Her giggle made my day.

I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow for sure John, and also Wednesday.

Funny how that works …they only tell you the good stuff …Were here for you John … as painful as it may be …(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Us being here for him is painful? For us, or for him? Either way, get well soon.

Ya … were thinking of Ya !

I hope everything goes well today, John. You are in our prayers.

Same here!

Greg

They said there will be a reaction, we just don’t know yours!

Some how they turned off my air!, been 3 hours and I’m stressed! Am breathing mostly ok now. Took a half hour to settle down.

Whatever was injected tightened my lungs and I couldn’t breath. If I wasn’t dyin’ it could have been funny watching my 2 nurses fumbling to get me oxygen asap(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-sealed.gif)

Tomorrow surgery and a 5-7 days in the hospital, then a month at sis’s…I’ve stopped thinking about a contest.

Thanks for the good thoughts.

Report at 7am begin at 9 …

See Ya

Go John Go! We expect a full report, but only when you are ready. Best of luck!

Glad to see you recovering from the stress test. Hope everything goes well tomorrow.

Will you have an Internet connection in the hospital?

Clearly you will be woozy tomorrow, but do you expect to be online Thursday?

Just want to know what day to expect to hear you back online. (se we don’t all go nuts speculating when we don’t see a post from you 1 minute after your operation!)

p.s. were the nurses cute?

Greg

Tomorrow you will be in my thoughts the entire day. Best of luck and a speedy recovery! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

The door was open and the phone was in my briefcase when it rang…

More Tests! Because the lung function test was flakey and my doc doesn’t want to leave me needing oxygen should he remove too much good along with the bad.

My operation has been postponed, maybe in 4 weeks…

I’ll save those prayers and good wishes for then.

I don’t think my sister can handle the stress of another delay…

Great Scott! Hang in there John!
