We had another very successful operation this morning, with great sunshine, and warm temperatures. There was just enough breeze to keep the mosquitoes away…the second operation of 2017.

Yes, Steve, with the rather wet Spring, “We got BUGS, lots of bugs”… This is a fact of life in most parts of Ontario, and Quebec, in Eastern Canada.

That locomotive of Lawrences’ is not B’mann C19. It is an Aristo/Delton C16. A smaller 1:24 locomotive. I think that is the first time it has been out.

Ken; There were a few new to you, faces. There were a few regulars missing due to conflicting events. This past Saturday, the HoTrack modular group had a set-up, along with the NMRA, SLD group having an event down in Kingston Ontario. Next Saturday, again, we will be missing a few people due to a rather good local model train show, up the Valley, in Arnprior Ontario. We always seem to have enough crew members to stage an operation. If we are short, we just annul the ore trains, and/or the passenger trains. The guys and Gals are getting quite versatile, and are able to move around to do many assignments. We are very fortunate to have such a great group of people…
Management just signed a new contract with all employees…a 20% increase in wages…this goes a long way towards the great moral of the crews…!!

Ah ha, I remember someone mentioning that they liked mine, so i assumed they had bought one. Couldn’t tell from the pix how big it was.

If I had the cash, I’d have two of the B’mann C19’s…and I think I may have made that comment to you…great locomotives, from what I have heard, and seen.
