Large Scale Central

Our friend Ralph Berg

has gone to the ER with an acute, possibly surgical, abdomen. Or, maybe its just gas. In either case, he is in a lot of pain, so keep him in your prayers.

Will do!

Dang, Steve… keep us informed, will ya??

The only info I have is what I stumbled across on Facebook, but I’ll try. I’m on the wrong coast to be really in the loop.

Steve, I know, but you get better info than me… I don’t do facebook…

Poor old Ralph - hope he feels better soon.

I saw his posts too. Was complaining last night that he was sick with stomach cramps. Thought he might have eaten something bad. Today he posted that he didn't sleep all night and pain was worse. Later updated to say he thought it might be his appendix and they were on the way to the ER about 8 hours ago.

I facebook with him a lot. Ill try to find out more. I just sent him a message. Will keep you guys posted.

Got an update from his daughter. He is getting his appendix out (appendicitis) I told her to tell him we are all thinking about him and to get better.

Thanks for checking Shawn. We’re thinking about Ralph.

Appendicitis is a young’uns disease. 15 - 26 is the usual range. Weird. Of course, it is Ralph…

I waited until I was 46 to have my appendix out, so what do the quacks know.

I’m glad it was not something more complicated.

Get well soon, Ralph.

Yow! I’m glad it wasn’t something worse. Prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Real good thing he didn’t try to “tough it out” this time.

Suffered through that in 3rd grade, 3 days after returning home I spiked a fever of 105.4 and they took me back in, realized I had an infection in my lymph nodes…lots of green goo and then I felt better.

one shining note: I was outta school for almost a month, I was excused from P.E. the rest of the year, and I was given the Empire Strikes Back Degobah Playset AND X-Wing Fighter…

I still got my appendix…in a jar!

Wayne

Hope all is well, get better soon.

Little Nicky

Thank you for all the well wishes.
I’m back home now. It was acute appendicitis. The appendix had perforated and was dumping poison into my body.
So they had to take out my appendix, as well as do some repair work to my intestine.

I got to tell you, cutting your gut open is no picnic. I hurt more now than I did when they sawed through my chest for open heart surgery 9 years ago.
Ralph

Ralph, there is nothing cute about appendicitis, besides, you are too old for that stuff. Knock it off, will ya?

Glad you are home. Take it easy.

Geez Ralph, should have had them install a zipper!

Glad you’re back!
