MLS? Is that place still around? I thought the VS tech-chimps geniuses had finally it killed it off a while ago?

“MLS? Is that place still around?”

Vic;

Yes, it is still around. Not a whole lot of activity, with the Beginners’ Forum and the Live Steam Forum as the exceptions. I am there a couple of times every day, but no longer post as much as I post here. AND since the chimpanzee is 98% human (DNA wise), I don’t think you should compliment the site’s VS tech geniuses like that. (Just irony, don’t take me too serious.)

Best, David Meashey

yes, I visit MLS once a day or so. Some activity in the Beginners forum, an occasional post elsewhere.

For some reason I get occasional email updates about recent posts there as well.

Is it too early for me to demand a recount

My vote can be bought…

I believe that, you are from Western Washington (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

Ouch that hurt. I want my cream puff recipe back! NOW!!!

It is always great to see what springs from the fertile imaginations of the participants and each build is as unique to the builder and perfectly suited for their particular layouts.

Terrific job everyone, you have not made picking the top 3 easy but I am partial to railroady structures.

1 Dennis Rayon. The peeling paint on those front doors and overall dilapidatedness? of the whole build is amazing.

2 Devon Sinsley. The ice house is not something that is often modeled and you did good.

3 This one was really tough to decide so to avoid the stress of having to make such a decision I say it is a 3 way tie between Dave Taylor, Dan Hilyer and Rick Marty. Very well done guys.

John Caughey was a close runner up with his stone building.

Nice job to all the participants that stepped up to this years build challenge.

The challenge keeps getting better every year. Congratulations to everyone for such a fine group of structures. Talent abounds on this site. That’s why it keeps my juices and interest Flowing and growing.

1st: Dennis Rayon

2nd: Devon Sinsley

3rd: Chris Kieffer

Thanks again for an enjoyable contest.

I read somewhere that a while ago they managed to kill off everyone else’s photo storage, and eliminated alot of the 1st Class benefits.

Craig Townsend and Dave Meashey still have till sun-up to vote.

Just saying.

Sorry Rooster;

Did not think I was eligible to vote, since I did not build anything. My picks are as follows (based on the structures appeal to me):

First – Devon Sinsley

Second – Dave Taylor

Third – Neal S

VOTING IS CLOSED FOR MIK 2020

Great, did not know if it was the 24th or Tuesday,

Quote from your first post:

Voting will end at sunup ( really more like when I drag me lazy as$ out of bed) on

Tuesday the 24th of Feb. Thats 7 days and a weekend.

Seriously, thanks for organizing this Dave!

Thanks Dave For Such A Wonderful Job Again This Year, You Are The LSC Man Of The Year

Dennis

Dave, did you fail to vote for a particular reason or was it an oversight or did I just miss it?

Since I’m running this whole mess called MIK, I refrain from voting to assure the integrity of the process… Being I “Organize” and “Run”, Make admin decisions Try to keep the peace. And “Count the Votes”, It could leave me in a “Sticky Position” with my cohonas on the anvil… Which is why I also have private e-mail voting for those that want to keep their vote confidential. I do retain the sole rights to award the “Spirit Of Mik” honor, based on my judgment.
