NOTICE

Starting tomorrow morning, I’m heading out for the weekend, back on Monday. I will be away from phone/computer/etc. If any issues arise on the site, I apologize, Ill fix them when I get back. There shouldn’t be, but you never know.

And, for those of you (and you know who you are) that insist (although recently quiet for the most part) on posting political or off-topic posts. If you try and sneak one in “while Bob is away”, you’re history. No reprieve, and I don’t care who you are. I’m tired of locking down threads, posting warnings, and the like. You have all been told enough times to know better. My patience is gone.

Bob maybe ya should make this posting a sticky, just for this weekend, so it dont fall out of view on the page.

Already? Were supposed to be 90 tomorrow too. Planning on spending the day on the lake; hopefully in the shade.

Doug;

Like you, I have some Kadee installs to get done. Our local club has a display at the O. Winston Link Museum (former N&W passenger station) in Roanoke, VA on June 2nd. It is the 30th anniversary of the formation of Norfolk Southern Corp. Got three hopper cars done last night. Still have to do a tank car.

Bob;

I promise to be good and not use the vacuum word.

Best,
David Meashey

Why do you think Im leaving?

:slight_smile:

I’m going to the first annual War of Northern Aggression Battle of Deep Creek. It used to be the Annual Battle of Spokane Falls, but they decided to move it this year. I guess there is better ground.

It is supposed to be really windy this weekend. No vacuum.

Steve, you are getting the weather that will miss us!

Thanks, pal. I'll think of you if I have to chase my hat! :lol:

Hey Bob, have a great weekend away from the everyday grind. My wife and I will be working around the yard and on the layout planting and cleaning up. She works on Sunday at a local nursery part time during the summer and we’ll celebrate our granddaughters birthday on Monday.

Everyone have a great weekend and remember those who gave everything that we might enjoy it.

Chuck

Im werkin…

Just got back from our Alaska cruise, one week without Internet, Newspaper or any of that other jazz.
Shot 40Gig of video with a lot of quirky stuff, but it will take a while to get it all edited. :wink: :slight_smile:

Did you see anything other than an eye piece, HJ? :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
Reminds me of our trip to Sea World. My wife says, “Please tape the Killer Whale show.”
That evening she asks, “What do you want to do tomorrow?”
I answered we are going back to Sea World to watch the Killer Whale show. :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
And we did.

Yes JB, I saw a lot of the LCD display :D, but since I took the monopod along I could set up the shot, hold steady and watch what was going on in real “realtime”. The tripod would have been even handier, but … I really didn’t want to drag that around.

BTW the monopod is like a “camera on a stick” set up, set the display at the right angle, start the cam, lift over the crowd that stands in front of you. :wink: :slight_smile:

LOL!

I used to be a big time photographer. I loved airplanes so I’d shoot roll after roll of flying aircraft…Blue Angels, T-Birds, WWII fighters. Then one day I realized I’d never actually SEEN an air show. Now I get my picks on line and enjoy the show!!!

I’d rather have the experience than pics of what I missed.

:slight_smile:

Well, do you think Bob is missing us?

Now that’s funny! :smiley:
