Yup, the key is to just don’t ““over-think”” it… Spent a few years, backing them into cargo aircarft… Not much room to manuver at all… However, on some aicraft, you almost could turn around inside them…
Be very glad you don’t live in UK. Camper vans over here look like the cars you tow behind camper vans where YOU live.

The first time that I ever had to back a trailer of any sort or size was a short wheel base (tongue length???) trailer attached to a military Jeep, into the back of a C-130.
I didn’t know enough to over-think it…
heck, Steve… a jeep & trailer into a C-130, you almost had enough room to turn it around…

ahhhh, Caribou’s were great gliders, they modified with engines… with a 120 knot headwind, the C-7 was actually flying backwards…
