? Part of the sceniced portion of the Miami layout was outdoors.

Bob, your pictures and detailing is fantastic… nice work…

How big is that ship?

The “Myra Ann”, a bulk freighter, was 232ft in length and 31 1/2ft abeam.
(divide by 29)
Shown here on the Miami river.

? This is an overview of the Miami River area. Bridge is on Tri-rail’s main line. It raised for access through the gate behind. (note: Timmy, the amaising railroad dog, is peeping through the gate)

? The other end of the main line(north end) ended at this outdoor return loop which represented CSX Hialeah Yard.

Bob,

Gotta ask, is the switch in the last pic handlaid? It looks far to shallow an angle to be commercial.

Bob C.

It is handlaid but it is (approximately) a number 6. Looks bigger, dosen’t it?
Must be a camera thing.

Sorry I’m late, but was on the road…in Miami. Good to see you found us. Welcome aboard.

Thanks, Ken

kEN, that’s one good lookin’ 2-8-0!
If I weren’t deep into diesels I’d jump right into some of that.

You're excused................;)

KEN, How’s the On30 coming along?

It’s up and running…had a few sessions with it to get the bugs out. It’s arrived at the point that it was in when it was in the garage (just collects less dust now)…

LOOKS GOOD. It’ll be there when you get back to it.
The new 1/29 layout is 6 miles away at my friend’s house.
I need to get something going here at home. Maybe the TTn3 1/2?
I keep running out of money!
