Large Scale Central

Newby Here

Hi everyone, my wife Val and I (Sean) recently got started with our G scale layout the V&S Central Mining. I was told about this site by a new friend of mine Jake, so I thought I would do a looksie and decided to join. For now I am a free member but as time moves along I am sure I will sign up as a full member.

We have a small layout for the time being like most folks start out, it consists of the Bachmann Atchison, Topeka, Santa Fe train. We have done out layout around our pond and waterfall that includes a 3’ tunnel under the waterfall, a small town site that has 2 buildings so far. We are running on track power for now and may change later on we will see. Our 4 year old grandson loves trains too so he enjoys running the train with papa Sean.

Looking forward to meeting more folks and learning a lot more about the fun this hobby provides.

No such thing as a paid / full member here. Everyone is equal. Should you care to donate cash to the operation, Bob has a tip jar on the main page, or you can rent a Freight Shed if you need a place to store more than a few pictures. The MyFiles picture area comes with your free membership.

Welcome aboard Sean!! If I can be of any assistance or help, feel free to contact me. The Regal

It has a small elevation to it and was covered in a heavy plastic to keep the dirt and moisture out;
