Welcome aboard!
Sean, good to see you checked this out. I don’t post much, but to me this is the best site I’ve found. You know what I do with most of my time–build trains. Thurs will be the day I get the snow plow back in action. With 14" and it’s still falling it should be interesting . Jake
Welcome. Sean.
You will enjoy this forum. Years ago we had a few forums like this, but I think Bob has given us the last of them, but it is up to us.
Geoff George; when one of the good guys drops in, it is like old home week. Geoff is very industrious and creative, very attractive qualities
as well as just being a nice guy.

All that backyard, and you only used a little corner of it?
Sean, I told my wife, well I guess I won’t need the lawn mower anymore.
She asked why, and I said I filled it (the backyard) with railroad, fence to fence and back porch to the property line.
But hey, a guy has to start somewhere, eh?
Welcome, and don’t believe a thing I say on this forum.
Welcome Clyde and Mabel!
John Bouck said:Lol, our backyard is pretty small in maybe 18' deep and about 35'-40' wide with a big downslope in the NW corner. I would love to do a full yard run but until we buy the house I do not want to tick the landlord off too much, lol. If I had my way I would tear out the sprinkler system, all the lawn out too and build a good size retaining wall to level the yard out . That would eliminate the 8' drop in the yard ( a 2.25' drop/foot length) going out from the house to the fence. Time will tell what happens.

I just bought a reproduction of the 3 ¼ gauge or track width of the made by MTH under license from Lionel. It is 28 inches long and is articulated in three sections. I am looking for some track to display it. Preferable the track should have some curves to show off the articulation.
Is Buddy L 3 1/4 inch gauge? what are your recommendations to buy or build track to display this engine?
