Hi Frank,
Welcome to LSC.
Do you already have a GRR, or are you in the planning stage?
If you have a GRR, post some pictures for us. We’d love to see them.
What part of Germany are you from? I used to spend some time in Berlin in my younger days.
Back then, there were almost as many model train shops as there were hot dog kiosks. I’d come
home with my suitcase packed with Fleischmann trains, Faller buildings, Wiking vehicles and Preiser figures.
The good ole days when I got 4 DM for every dollar.
Ralph
Hi Ralph,
i already have a RR, pictures can be found in the pictures section of www.g-scale-structures.de (Warning…some kind of Spam so…LOL, but i decided to take the pics on my business-site).
Berlin is quite a bit away from here, im from south-west-gemany, somwhere east of the black forest and south of stuttgart.
Its interesting to find many people in the US that were here in Germany and are on G-Scale railroading…strange…hmmm…
Greetings
Frank
Hello FRank.
Welcome to LSC.
I visited your website to see the pics. The site loaded up just fine but as soon as I clicked on a pic my computer locked up solid and refused to budge. I managed to stop IE and re-run it. But I doubt I will visit the site again until that gremlin is fixed.
Welcome aboard Frank. Let us know when we can see the pics.
Dave
Argh!
One day i will take all windows-computers and fire them out, IE including. ALL in the world.
hehehehe…then the Mac-Community will gain the power of the world…evillaugh
As soon as im able to fill in some details here, i ask for patience…
But i would be happy for any hint on my website if there are problems to view.
But because i dont know how many visitors there were, it would be fine to hear some “worked with me”, too.
We used a Mac-application to create the website and there seem to be some problems with plug-ins and some other details.
When we find them, we´ll fix it.
And -as told- i will post some pictures as soon as i see how to do it…just give me some hours.
Greetings
Frank
Welcome, Frank!

i have to do my “take the world over” plans.
Oh well, i will NEVER get the deep secrets of www-space and computers in general.
Dear Tac,
grin there will be NO proper exchange for an iMac…that hits me personally…grimlook
btw: are there any smilies to use??? mean a list of them. My head is no “smilie-code-vocabulary”.

Frank,
Just to muddy the waters some, I had no issues with the link or the site.
BTW … Nice site.
Bob C.
Frank, I logged on to your site just fine with a MacBook Pro using Firefox. I suspect those who are experiencing problems are using Explorer as their browser for which an instability warning was issued in the Norwegian newspapers this morning. I am envious of your beautiful 6’ long aluminum truss bridge. Did you build it yourself? Ah, I see that your site advertises a company that custom builds them. I have not been in Reutlingen, but my great-great grandfather was born nearby in Dettingen am Erms, and I have been there and would like to visit the village again.
Welcome aboard. I used to travel to Germany a lot when I worked for Daimler/Chrysler. Of all the european countries I have visited I can honestly say Germany was my favorite. My wife and I took my grandaughter on a three week trip to Germany two years ago. She was taking German in high school and just loved seeing Germany and listening to the people talk.
Big John
Thanks all!
@Art:
wow, the world is small sometimes!
Yes, Dettingen/Erms is just “round the corner” from here.
I would be very pleased to welcome you when u decide to come here and take a look in.
The bridges i build by myself, depending the metal ones. the wooden ones are made by my brother.
With the 6`bridge it began to think about a small business. It stays small–lol–just have 1 customer till now.
Lets wait and see.
Frank
as i told…it seems every US-G-scaler once was in Germany…
…why the heck havent i been in the US yet???
Frank
