The cat under the bridge is named “pepper”. She and her “friends” are responsible for the name of the RR: Cat Canyon RR I have some youtube-links, sorry for the bad quality, was made just with a fotocamera, and there were some conversion-losses. and…ahm…there SHOULD be sounds…so, turn your boxes on and youtube to its highest volume, the camera just did get it a bit quiet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7w3uiKnWDm0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxffsSCo3sQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKg61cBFQmA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YakEZIGuIiE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5hvVLnYyVE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ghMJxHQZys8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VU_QW5STdUY …lots of stuff so… Greetings Frank

Thanks for the pics Frank. Nice looking layout you’ve got there. Seem to recall that first shot from someplace.

Frank,
While writing a post, you’ll see a link at the bottom for MY FILES.
There you will be able to upload your pictures and insert them in your post.
File names need to be free of odd charecters and spaces.

Welcome Aboard… Nice looking railroad…

Welcome!
Watch that guy above me he can be mean and hurtful sometimes!

Welcome Frank. I’m wondering if that wreck had anything to do with the cat

Frank,

Your site worked for me here. PC with IE8. No problem.

Thanks u guys for testing.

We found a problem with the clip on the homepage: it is a .mov and we will try to change it to a flash file…

LOL–no the wreck wasnt due to the “cats-circuit” on my rail…*grin
but its a problem with those cats.
Sometimes they are sitting middle on the track, not moving untill the loco gives them a little bump-

Our Pepper now found something new:
cats gan go over G-scale trains where there are flatcars or gondolas.
No problem, though.
Shes going over the moving train!

So, one day there WILL be a wreck due to a cat, im sure of it.

A real 'cat-astrophe'.

Grone.

LOL, yes!

In the end, u have to deal with problems, and there are always several ways to do so.
I thought about annoying the cats untill they leave me alone (water…"shhhhhs"´s and things). Moraly bad.
…a glue trap somewhere…mmmm, not better.

taking attention by giving food…too expensive…and a fat cat.

so, if u cant fight an enemy, make him your friend.

I decided to make her beeing my inspector.
Works great.
When not ill, shes out with EVERY step i do in the garden. running up and down the line, looking for the movements, operations and personally inspects the track and structures.

When something goes wrong and my wife asks for, i just tell she should ask the inspector-cat…

I am also new to LSC, but I have been lurking about for awhile. I am currently in the planning stage for my first garden railroad, but have been in N scale for 2 years. Currently, the only trains close to G gauge that I have is my daughter’s New Bright toy train set. I am planning to get an Aristocraft Eggliner Starter Set to get started outside.

You might get with Ralph Berg he is from your neck of the woods don’t know how close you are to each other!! Regal

Hi and welcome Christopher. I'm in the Western part of the state. I'm guessing your closer to one of my favorite places, the Spencer Shops. Ralph
