Looking forward to the white elephant table. For the D&B I should bring “Lou’s Loo”!
I I know one should never correct someone’s grammar but I believe the correct way to say this is, “I should port-a-loo”, Lou. 🫠
I just made arrangements, and will be there Friday afternoon at the Hampton on Riverdale, woo hoo!
Wife booked a room at Holiday Inn express we will be there Saturday to Sunday. Thanks @smcgill for the restaurant suggesting Student Prince, there menu looks good and I see couple German beers I want to try.
Our favorite every time we are in the area!
It would be fun to do something like this at the west coast Costa Mesa show next year.
Maybe plan on a dinner at the Student Prince, Saturday or Friday night?
You guys go and have a blast. With a last name like mine and direct connection to the old country only two generations back, you would think I would like German food. I guess that Sauerbraten that was forced on me as a toddler spoiled it forever
I’m going to stick with the Longhorn. It’s close to the hotel and a bit more budget friendly.
There’s a handful of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, including Longhorn. Pondering the Mexican place, too.
Years ago we used to go to the Student Prince on Saturday night after the Amherst main show. you need to make a reservation , especially with a group, if you expect to get in. there is only on street parking, or valet service, maybe a paid parking lot nearby. long story short it was a major hassle. there is another German restaurant in Chicopee, forget the name, has its own limited parking, i think the last time we were there i ended up parking on the city street.
Longhorn, which is in a large mall setting has plenty of parking, but still recommend reservations. so i will be with that group Saturday night.

Sounds good too… Crap I’m getting hungry…
We need to find a place with a bar that wont get sick of us after a couple hours…
Fred’s headed down for the event??
… and for bonus points, it’ll have a bartender named Donna. (A nod to Fr Fred )
BTW, who has the Travelling Outhouse?
You need to check out the steaming tender, its an old station.
Unfortunately, I do.
So now you are promoting drinking and driving Nico!
Or they need to find Uber drivers that won’t get sick of them after a few runs back and forth.
