Night time on my messy layout.
Landrel, that looks really cool. I bet nighttime ops are fun (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

With an indoor railroad it can be night time anytime. Just turn off the light switch! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

With no windows of course. Coffee and doughnuts during a blizzard. Just make previsions for the “Operations Crew” if they have to spend the night.
thanks guys…
Finally got all the framing done ready to apply planking. Also framed around the windows.
There seems to be ample room around the loco for details. That in your plans?
Looking very nice…
Amazing work! Where did you get the industrial windows?
Jim My plan is to put a lot of detail inside the engine house. I have a lot of stuff just have to add it later…
I am not sure if yall Know but I bought Scale Art Parts a little over a year ago. I have all their windows , Door and parts. I have made a few additions to some windows
I have added a resin Frame backing to the original window so it looks like independent windows. Not just gluing plastic to the back of a window…
This way if your looking inside the engine house you don’t just see one big glare from the backside of the window.

Here is the 16" cast resin light pole painted, wired and in place.
Will you sell these Landrel?
Iain,
Yes I have them for sale I just have not added them to my website. I am now casting them in black or brown. They are hollow so the wiring can be added. If they were to be used outside they would need a brass tube for the center to keep them rigid. (it is just too hot in some places) I am not sure if you can see it or not but the pole is cast with an external "fake " wire and staples . Each one comes with the lamp fixture and tube. They are $12 each.
Thanks Ty
Here is a door casting. It is a set of engine house doors that I carry… had to make a new casting for the structure hinge.
