Large Scale Central

My health update.

I watched one of his painting shows once. He could have made more money selling whatever he was on.

Get yourself some of those happy pills, Maynard, and you, too, can make happy little trees under happy little clouds, not to mention all the “happy accidents” (not mistakes) you can have.

edit: here you go ! ! :

The wig was a suggestion for Devon’s scar covering up … an alternative to the tin hat ( he could still have a tin scull cap underneath ) (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

He would be just as Cool … (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Happy anniversary Devon! And I’m glad to hear the surgery went well. I hope it holds this time, and that your recovery is swift and uneventful.

Hey guys just wanted to say a big thank you again to my LSC family. You have been wonderful at your prayers, wishes, concern, and humor at my expense. I really have been blessed with a very large network of people looking over me.

I have great news. I am healing fast, feeling great, and virtually symptom free. Even the eyes are making noticable gains. Even my surgical pain is all but gone. Still in recovery mode, but just a little over a week post op and I am doing well. Even have been out in the shop cleaning, got my shopsmith back up and running, and making some big wood into little wood.

So just wanted to let you all know that the prayers and well wishes are working and I am making a comeback. Let’s hope this time its permenant.

Amen Good Buddy, I’m so happy for you.

Wow way to go.(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Edit; beating cancer wouldn’t have been as much fun without your success too.

So great! Happy for both you and John. And happy that the rest of us keep getting to give you guys are hard time! Let’s keep the good news coming, ok?

Glad to hear both of you are doing well… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Yes I am happy and relieved that both of you are doing well. Keep it up. (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Devon, that is great news. I hope your recovery continues down the right path.

Awesome, Devon!!

Thanks for the update, and I’m so glad your recovery is going as you hoped!!

maybe, this time you should try to not do it in overdrive.

you have not lost any time, while sick. so no reason to “catch up”

you were as good as (brain)dead already. and now you got additional time. that is precious! so don’t waste that gift.

preacher, get out your business-manual, read in it. dont be a busybody again. nobody in this world, or the other, needs you to do 16 things in 15 minutes.

(originally not my ideas.

my wife pushed my nose into it, mentioning: “I prefer to have you around for another ten years, even if you do nothing but eat and phart. beats laying flowers on your stone.”)

This calls for an Amtrak moment !

Korman, I do plan to take it a bit slower and recover. The effects of these surgeries have been cumulative and I am not ready for a marathon just yet. Today was a good example of what I SHOULDN’T do. I woke up with the sun and was out in the shop at 5:30 feeling great. But by 2 was beyond exhausted. Need to take it easy though I will need to learn how.

And Rooster I was afraid when you said Amtrak moment that my recovery was going to derail and come to a crashing halt. Glad it was a smooth ride and stayed on the tracks.

That’s impressive. Amtrak made it all the way past the camera without jumping the tracks and running the camera man over.

They do it everyday!

Devon sleep is a proven recover tool …take as many cat naps as you would like… (https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Not to be guilting you or anything… (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-innocent.gif)but what have you accomplished on your layout, that was supposed to be done, this month, two years ago? Yea, but they don’t always do it.
