LOL has that boy of yours ever asked you if you needed a nice metal bridge?
he offered one for like 3 million bucks, plus delivery.... :) he always helped the neighbors, but never did anything at home.... :)

Not true…I never offered to deliver.
Besides your spanning 20 and 30 feet not 5’

I guess Dad should have taught you to count to ten. Then you wouldn't be stuck on 5 feet ;) Ralph

I seem to recall a welder that was offered for sale or trade at one time and the offer being refused…but I could be wrong…

Someone was selling a welder??? where??? QQ 'n

Ha ha ....Shot down in flames by the Kenster!

If he would have bought it he would realize by now how much work goes into metal fabrication as such. It was one hell of a price too!

Edit to add First I want to thank all that have responded to this thread. Ken, the guard rails are there you just have to close your eyes and click your heels three times to see them. Shawn the Rooster will roost in a more prominent spot on the pike. (Some may want to use him for target practice and I wouldn’t want a perfectly good bridge ruined because somebody couldn’t see the target. A little update on the track work, since we’ve been having a period of decent weather.

A little dark but I’m getting more of a retaining wall in place

Same area just a different view. The BFRs are now in place around 15’ of the area.Still have about 19’ on this side of the bridge then another 45’ on the othe side of the bridge. Need to go check the rockslide I’m working for more BFRs

Did you build your RR under my maple tree? Might want to see if Sean M. will lend you his ‘Blower car’.

Looking better Hollywood. Hopefully this mild weather hangs on a little longer for you.

…winking…

can’t you get BIG rocks???

nice work, hollywood…

Not if rooster is helping him. Big rocks would be too much for that bird.

Those big rocks come in handy Andy. I finished the section off after gathering another 15 rocks

This gets me shored-up between two bridges. I still have a 15 foot section to work on for now

NICE!

I like it Hollywood, thats coming out really nice. I especially like the brick wall.

It looks so good, it should be used in movie shots for Hollywoodddddddddd…

Wonderful work, Dave…

Hollywood,
Building boxcars, hauling rocks…you’ve been a busy man.
Where’s the fire station going to be located
Ralph

Weather has finally given a few breaks and I’ve been able to take advantage of a couple of them. I got back on the retaining walls on Easter Sunday and have been able to get a few hours in here and there. Started by laying a few block for the base.
