Mmmmm. Seems they may have a BIG problem which I can sympathise with, having just had a catastrophic PC failure which wiped out even the software for the CD ROM unit so had to get an external CD Rom Writer (USB) to input WINDOWS.
That appears to be the solution.
IF your CD Rom Writer will not allow you to set up WINDOWS, then a USB external CD ROM Writer external unit such as the one I used (a Samsung Model SE SO84) will. Cheap at half the price and cut the blood pressure down a few point I can tell you!!
Of course…all this could have been avoided if the so called “expert” who tried to fix the PC had entered the drivers anyway!

The one of Ken and Bob was taken less than a year ago. The one from Fred’s (long hair Bob) is 3 or 4 years ago.
