Unlike on the Mighty Large Soap threads don’t get locked all that often over here. If it’s because Bob is more tolerant, the membership is more mature or we all have at least a salt shaker on the desk could stand to debate.
On Tony W’s avatar, I have a suspicion that “the devil made me do it” was too long a sign-off, but the avatar does the job. :lol: :lol:

While I have not been a member of the other site for many years, I still visit the site for occasional inspiration. I can see why one would post as to the online/offline status of the other site as no matter what the site, it is annoying when one cannot access a site (whether a member or not). I do not see such postings as a criticism but more out of frustration.

Honestly, reporting the status here when MLS goes down is probably from frustration, but really, all it’s going to do is cause hard feelings in some, as evidenced by Marty’s request to lock the thread.
People who find the thread irritating, can ignore it, since the thread title has not changed, just don’t read it.
I find being able to joke around once in a while is fun. I’m a very regular member on MLS, I don’t think the site will crash because of my comments. All of us can take a bit of ribbing once in a while.

I raised the subject in case anyone else knew why and for how long it was down.
Not really frustrated and certainly not to pick on them.
I was working on uploading an article at the time and it was a bit annoying that I had to wait to do it.
Oh well, I guess folks can’t cross post the same stuff right now…
