Miks build challenge 215 ShawV

Looks great Shawn. And it’s done enough at this stage to enter the judging and do well. Enything you can get done today is just icing on the cake!

Sorry you couldn’t get back to Scranton today. I wimpled out on Saturday because of the forecast and it turns out today is much worse. Maybe I can make the get together in Winstead CT next weekend.

Very cool Shawn, love the speed, most clockwork is a lot faster than that.

Very cool Shawn, most clockwork stuff is alot faster.

You did it Shawn…you made your ideal work and it’s a very nifty job. I love the color, and the clockworks has been one of my favorite ideas in this year’s build. Way to go.

I guess staying home today paid off. I got the swamp Logger finished (for the most part) Total cost was under $30, mainly for the two gears.

Love the swamp logger. I even like the bottle cap. I love the micro layout gives me some ideas. How long will it run on a wind up.

Devon thanks. I get just under a minute.

Shawn you sure captured the rustic look you were shooting for.

The bottle cap is a neat addition. Is it a marker for tired Hikers passing through who might want to get a lift?

Haha thanks Todd. It will pick up the hikers and drop them off at kens to Viggianos Pawn Shop.

Great stuff , now you always have something to run on the micro when you can’t run track power or live steam.

Nice!!!

Very Cool Shawn, Looks right at home on the micro. Love the finishing and the cap too. You get points for combining stories. (Swamp Logger and the pawn shop)
