In all seriousness, the initial announcement lists both the 11th and the 13th as building end dates, although the 13th is the more prominent and the one I have always assumed is the correct date. But I do have a clarifying question: if one is burning part of the project down, is that considered “building” or part of the posting pictures time?

Gregory, first of all, your build is brilliant. Second, you have a chance to make Challenge history with our first-time-ever ACTION final post for voting. Pictures, or, better yet, a video of the fire would be a real innovation to the final voting thread. I say go for it, but Dave of course sets the rules beyond Have Fun. Still, what could be more fun than a fire?

There seems to be a small conflict in the rules regarding last work date/time. In the large font bullets it says…
Feb 13th, building ends (extended to local sunrise on the 14th if you must put in an all nighter to finish).
Then below that you say…
RESTRICTIONS: Actual building starts on JAN 13th and Ends on Feb 11th.
So, do we pull the plug at Sunrise Monday, or Sunrise Wednesday? I need to know which day will be my all-nighter so I can call in sick ahead of time (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)

WOW! How did I miss that? But to my defense, so did the rest of you until just now.
If you count 30 working days from the start, you come up with the 11th.
BUT,,, There it is in print for the 13th, OOOOPPPS!
SO..... I, here by grant an extension for all of us,
to Tues 13th.
+ an all nighter till sun up the 14th, if needed.
( I still don't think that I'll get done, DNF in my future )

Dave, I really need to know this! My project will be finished today on schedule, but if, God forbid, there were to be a catastrophic accident, such as, oh, I don’t know, a fire that causes severe damage to said project, does that catastrophic accident need to happen today, or would that be considered part of the extra photography days?
Gregory, Dave may chime in otherwise, but I think since you are on the cutting edge of Challenge Creativity, the catastrophe should happen on photo day…the way I see it, you’re creating the first ever “Action Challenge.” You know ? !
edit: I forgot to mention: For extra credit, and extra votes, you simply must have a cigarette hanging out of your mouth during the event!

The build is done... An ACT of GOD... is a heavy command to burden one's self with.
But if you'r going to photograph, an ACT OF GOD.. it should be on the photo days.
