Great! They’d be a little cool on a cold, windy morning!

Yeah, but the ventilashun is great!
That could save yore life

Still waiting on my door.

I drove out to the mailbox this morning and am happy to report that the contest winner has arrived…
Thanks, I’ll send you a 2 dollar bill and a stamp…

John

Little bit of “trash talking” this morning eh, John. Not gonna work. I may not win for best construction, but it will be a winner in the “nobody ever did THAT before” category.

My door came yestertag also, Dave. I see that the postage was just over $2. Care to guess what the actual cost of the door was?

I’m listening for the starting gun, but I’ve already sketched the floor plan. Is it OK to start stockpiling materials from existing stores – not buying anything new??

As per the rules, I haven’t started cutting material yet, but I have started gathering my supplies. I have my band aids at the ready. I also have;

WOW! this thread gorn down the drain since my last visit!.. Anyway my door will take a week or so to arrive so I have time to gather whatever it is I will need.

Just got mine.

A door like that would not look good on a reefer…and a reefer I is building…so I is not part of this escapade, but am watching with a keen interest in pictures of fine ladies peering from slightly open out house doors…!!

Just a wee bit of blarney, with all that outhouse chatter I figured it’ll be a fine bathroom door in my sod house…
John

It is often said that one door leads to another. In my case it was a folder in a filing cabinet drawer.

After completing the Parish Accounts this afternoon I happened to see a Garden Railways drawing which I had downloaded a while ago and quietly forgot. WOW! I thought that plan has TWO doors so maybe that is what I should attempt to build. So, providing I do not have to make a visit to the doctor tomorrow I can look around my garage for lumber and other bits that could form part of the project. Fortunately Kalmbach include dimensions with their plan.

This project will - if built of course - replace an existing (garden center product) which is quite an old structure which is a little dilapidated and does not have an ideal appearance for its intended use.

Talk about gone bad this has gone way south. Later RJD

but not too far.
it hasn’t arrived here yet…

Got my door in mail today.

And scored huge with a sheet of 1/2 plastic for a base for our project at a Gas Station that is closing, asked the owner who is my customer watcha doing with that, he said throwing it away, I said I will take it!

@Tom Mik would be proud! Thou he would keep half for some future project, and offer the rest in trade for most anything that he could use.
