I am confused. Lighting “Halloween” fireworks inside, on a cheap plastic tablecloth he calls a protective cloth…
I really missed something there
Your allowed to set off fireworks inside on Halloween?
New Chapter to Mik’s Build Challenge 2014:
1st Place winner Boomer K. invited me down to the NMGRR club meet at his house.
Boomer’s BUPPs Fireworks stand held a featured spot on his layout.
The winning prize was a 22" x 33" canvas print of my “Osier Night”. D&RGW 315 at Osier water tank.
Boomer was humble and loved it.
So ends Miks Build challenge 2014.
Can’t wait to pull the surprise on you all for next year…

I am taking all three items to a professional framer this next week.
I have no time these days to frame anyone especially 3 of you.
I was wondering if we might revisit the winners. The fireworks stand looks right at home there.
Dave that photo is Amazing.
Boss Crumb loves it when a loaded log train makes its way down from Elkmont.
When it stops at the Fish Camp Commissary, he’s real happy.
He knows he’s got some customers and sales to make at the company store.
Thanks again Dave and Ralph for the wonderful awards you all sent down Tennessee way.
Doc Tom
Way to go Boomer, don’t smudge the painting.

Hey Doc.! I like that you posted fresh pics of your challenge build.

Hi Dave
Good idea. I would also like to see how the builds were intergrated onto the RR’s
Here is mine in the Roaming Rooster video.
The engine house is seen right at the beginning and again around the :45 mark. Also seen guarding the WYE at 1:00 in is the switch yard building that was a winner in 2012, (there wasn’t much competition then)
