Very Nice!
So whatās next?
David Russell said:Well, I have 3 switches to build, 2 of them with a slight curve, a CMS Long Branch Saloon structure to bash into something (haven't decided what yet) and some 0n30 related stuff to do.

Hereās what Iām basically going to try and accomplish out there. I have templates made up for the curved switches, whether theyāll be stub or point switches I havenāt made up my mind yet.

If I get them done and we continue to have nice weather, it may get done this winter. Itāll just be one more switching puzzle to contemplate when the local way freight heads outā¦
Iām not going to pick on the 4 sidings with one through track but Iām not sure I like the arrangement of the two real sidings. Maybe off the same runaround track even if you need to add a crossing. My humble opinion only
Dave; This is a challenge for the Road crew when they have to switch the Station.

Switch the other siding on the way back.
Dave Marconi said:Actually it's a main, a passing siding and two stub sidings. The RRtrack program uses sectional track and I couldn't get the one section to join up..........since I'm using 6' flex track it'll join..................;) But I'm open to opinions.............

I user RR TRack too. I finally figured out how to make it auto-fit a piece of flex track to fill a gap. Donāt know if I remember enough to teach ya though.

But Steve, somebodyās got to whine or the cheese will mold

Jon Radder said:I could probably figure out, just too lazy since I don't use it all that much. I used to use it a lot more before I rebuilt the layout since my old one was all sectional track...but if ya remember and explain it to me, I'll more than likely, not remember next time I use it.

Where to put this? Since this all part of the reason I built the station it doesnāt make sense to put it anywhere else. One switch is done for the passing siding and the one for the other end just about done.

The one on the left (completed switch) gets placed on the Delores end of the station, The curved side duplicates the curve as you head into Mancos from Delores. The straight side is for the passing siding. The other goes towards the Hesperus side. The tighter curve is the passing siding, as it curves coming out of Hesperus.

Had to order more casting resin as Iām all out of frogs. #6ās anyway.
Nice work Ken, I see you use a 4-6-0 pilot for testing turnouts like me
