gonna be done this weekend ?

It’s almost done this weekend. It has a few details that need to be finished. The freight end still needs to have the roof permanently attached.

I had add a some bracing to the inside and along the roof. the walls and roof had a serious whoopus in them. And some supports for the porch roof.

Lotta little minor details to be added.

Excellent!!

REALLY nice, Ken. Good job!

That’s a great looking depot Ken! Nice work.

There’s a certain standard that a lot of you modeler’s on here have set and trying to reach it can be a bit intimidating, but, at the same time, it definitely will improve your skills. At least, that’s what I’ve found. It’s certainly helped a lot with what I’ve tried to do and in that regard I like to offer my thanks to all of you!

Ken that’s a great looking addition to your town. Guess we’ll see it in place this coming spring?

More than likely. Too damn cold out to mess with it now. (This isn’t Shawn, I have enough sense to come in when it’s cold and rainy and snowy) Besides, I have a couple of switches I need to build so I can rearrange the track work out there and move the existing buildings…

Maybe in another 20 years Shawn will have enough sense too
Like I said before, spiffy Depot

It’s about as done as it’s gonna get, I think. I had to make another filial for the tower roof since I busted the first one. And the order board needs to be placed just to the right of the tower window, so now I can start on the switches.

I also have the Long Branch Saloon to build, so Fred can have a bordello to visit…I just haven’t decided yet how I’m gonna make it look.

That sure turned out nice, Ken. I can’t wait to see it outside, but I suspect that will be sometime next year?

Love the signs!

Yea, got some rearranging to do out there first…

Thanx!!

That looks really nice Ken. Will look even better on your layout. Now get out of that house and put it on the layout so we can see it covered with a dusting of snow. Take advantage of this summer weather in Dec.

I go out in the cold for you guys. Someone has to have pictures of trains running in the winter.

Ken, Station turned out beautiful… great job…

Shawn, you're the "sacrificial lamb" :D Ralph

Really came to life with the signage Ken. But, since you’re building for some continuity in your structures, I miss the standard weather vane

Last I knew old Roos was buying up all of them he could find in an attempt to control the market

Looks great Ken !

Came out REAL nice, Ken.

As my boy would say…Sahweeeet!!!

Here’s the rearrangement I plan to do. Build 3 new switches, a passing siding and another freight siding. The old station will become another freight shed.

It looks short in the picture but the passing siding will be about 15’.

Ken,

Station came out great…
