Looking for pictures of double tracked "steel" curved trestles

As the topic states. Preferably a deck or plate style. I have a tiny picture of a rather neat one in a book on the Chessie System, which I believe is located in Richmond VA. However my search on the internet has been unable to turn this up. Yes I know none are really curved but this one appears as such. Anybody got anything??
I got a hair up my hind end to build one but I need inspired and pictures do this!!
Thanks

These are from Google Earth, Richmond,Va. Take a little time to look yourself and you can probably find a better image. This looks like a single track. If there is still a double there, you should be able to find it. Ralph

Google images of “keddie wye” for a double tracked steel bridge that wyes halfway across.

There is an ad in the latest Craftsman Magazine for an updated reprint of the Bridge and Trestle guide, or plan book…I forget the full name, but it is a great book for inspiration when planning or building .

While it’s not double tracked, it could easily be widened to accomadte a double track when you build it. More here: http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?location=Keddie%20Wye

Thanks, Ken.
I was going to do all that cutting and what not to post a few pics, but was too lazy.

I plan on building a wye on my layout. I was going to use fill.
Hmmmmmmmm…

hehe…I had these already to go on my website from when I visited there a few years ago…or how ever many years ago the GR conv. was in Sacramento.

David,

You might google Harpers Ferry West Virginia. That is a two track with a wye ay the west end.

Dave

Thanks for your replies !
Ken thanks sooo much for the link to railpictures. I saw several ideas!
Dave, will look into that.
Ralph…never thought of Google Earth! Nice call
I actually think I found what I was after, it’s beautiful in it’s own ugly steel way and will be perfect!!!

How about the old New York Central freight bridge across the Hudson at Poughkeepsie, NY?

Neat pictures Dave however that's not quite what I'm after .....beautiful bridge though!

David,
That Garwood trestle is nice but it doesn’t fit your title. You said double track and thats just an extra wide single with spare ties for the work crew.

Dave

Nice to finally meet you.

It’s all about inspiration and I got it from Garwood…
Pleasure meeting you as well Dave

Davo, I couldn’t find a photo of the western (Highland) side of the bridge, which might have been of more use to you. From memory, there’s a section there that’s similar to the photos Ken posted. Hope you can find as good a design plan as this One:

Dave…you should post that in the reference section!
