Bob why, when I log in does it take me to my profile page and not back to the main forum index?

Also we can no longer stay logged in ?

Weird. No problem here on 3 different computers. What browser? I’m running Firefox.

Yea, no problem here on FF, or IE on the laptop. Hrm… What browser/OS versions? And when you say “doesnt stay logged in” do you mean when you go away from the site, or does it ‘log you off’ while you’re surfing around LSC?

Internet Explorer on a desktop. Yes, when I leave and return to the site I have to log in again. Does not happen on other favorite sites.

Same issue here. So I’m not the only one having this happen. I thought it was something on my end. IE too, if I keep the Explorer open I stay logged in, if I close the IE when I reopen and check back I have to log back in.

Happened a few times with OPERA 10 but hasn’t the past few days.

I had it happen once in IE about a week ago. No problems since.

Thank you Bob, seems to be fixed. I have closed out and it has kept me logged in. now I’ll sign out and see what happens when I log in

Nope. Log in still takes me to my profile essentials page, not back to the page I clicked "Log In " on. And yes I am also on IE for now. Seems like those with this glitch seem to be

Perhaps I have stumbled upon a possible answer… If you use the new Chat and you are logged in to the Forums, you are also logged in to Chat. Clicking Log out on the chat page logs you out of the forums too.

Bob’s trying to make it hard to lurk in Chat ? :smiley: ?

Interesting. I don’t get on to Chat often, but went over there and saw I was logged in.

Yea, wherever you wander on the site, you’re now ‘logged in’ there. Though Im pondering changing the chat to not actually having you in the chatting list until you hit the chat button. at least you’d get one free lurk!
