If your logged into chat once you log into the site, are you shown in the chat room list??? or do you not show on the chat room list, until you hit chat???
I’d prefer not to be logged into and showing in chat, unless I was actually in chat… Don’t want people thinking I am in there, and I’m not really there…
No, if you are logged in on the site (forums, wherever) and you go into chat, you’ll show up on the list.

To test this, I closed chat, logged out of forums, reopened chat, was asked to log in to chat, did not, but I still showed in the "logged into chat window.

There’s a 10 minute time out of chat users, so you’d have to wait…
