I tried the LGB web site once again and it is still down as is the LGB Club Forum.
I am a moderator for the LGB Club Forum and there has been no communication from LGB on the forum for some time.
It is easy to see conspiracies when one is devoted to finding them.
I suspect it is far simpler and that LGB may be setting up new web sites. I think it is far too soon to start worrying about who might be doing what.
With all that has been happening at LGB lately I don’t think the web sites being down should be that much of a surprise to anyone.
There is no harm in LGBoA having separate web sites. In fact it makes a lot of sense in that LGBoA is now independent from LGB.
Hopefully the situation is temporary and the LGB web sites will be back up again in the near future.
This computer for some reason will not recognize the new format of the LGBoA web site and I have to use a different computer to view it (apparently there is something screwed up with the Java software).
I guess I should start rumors that someone is “attacking” the LGBoA web site.

Jerry,
As a rule I just go by the indications that are presented on the Internet. That’s what error codes are for i.e. if an URL doesn’t work check first if the syntax of that URL conforms.
If the error code mentions “too many visitors trying to access”, welllllll I guess there are too many visitors. Once that is mentioned those of us who know a bit more about the Internet may surmise a few things.
Most of those who are working with the Internet in some form i.e. running websites and fora, have most likely learned a few things while doing that.
OTOH there are those who “don’t give a hoot” just as long as whatever they want to access works. Hmmmmmmmm there are certain similarities with how one looks at a hobby, too, don’t you think??? Don’t sweat the details???
Regarding those rumours: Perhaps you need a better dictionary in order to discern between questions and rumours.
Asking the “right” questions is certainly different from rumours. The rumours we generally leave to those people who access all the “reliable sources”, which for some strange reason can’t be quoted/cited as originators in print. Curious situation, isn’t it??
