LGB Repair time!

Hey Tim, I have a yahoo.ca email address. Haven’t seen me hiding, have you? :stuck_out_tongue:   It’s a handy thing, crap gets thrown back right where it belongs, mind you that SPAM button could be like the LGB Ideas Box, a deep dark hole where nobody knows what really happens.

On those server problems in 06/07 … hmmmm … yes, that is a typical Fundamentalist tactic.

Dang! Been caught again :(

HJ,
spam or ideas box, either way the message was ignored. Interested in seeing who else is coming out of the woodwork as regards ‘aliases’. Maybe a little tidy up is required to weed out the false members registered merely to stir the pot, although it would be more likely less fun without Marvin and JJS and PJ and pius and Bruce, ad nauseum. You can usually trace the quarry from the scent trail that it leaves. Some are obvious and simply crap on a well-trodden path, while others are less obvious, in the beginning, but tread the same path in each argument, eventually.

Sorry, Jack, you have been ‘outed’ in a nice way.

Hah Hah!, You might consider TOC's question "Hmm. Sure you have the same guy?

Three people here have exactly the same name! Now that’s a real nightmare for you. Eh?

Far from it. Nice try Jack, but another miss! I recommend you read your home town paper (The Herald-Citizen) more often or more carefully. OTOH I noticed in today’s News

You nailed that one Ralph. :D The first thing you do is change writing styles! Play with your, you're and there, their, they're. :D
Bruce too, I suppose. Jack, you seem to be a man that has no trouble voicing your opinion. So the alter ego's are just to amuse yourself and to mess with HJ and the rest. Ralph

It was revealed that, discovering that the planet Krypton was about to explode, noted scientist Jor-L was unable to convince his fellow Kryptonians to save themselves, but did manage to construct a spaceship to save his and his wife Lora's infant son, Kal-L. The ship was launched just as the planet finally exploded, with Kal-L landing on Earth ; his landing was watched by passing motorists John and Mary Kent. The couple took the infant to an orphanage , and soon returned to adopt the child, naming him "Marvin."Eventually he becme known as Jack/Marvin/Bruce! Otherwise known as....

Jack,
you capitulated far too readily. Now I do not know if you are simply being condescending or having a bit of fun. I must say that it did not take long for John to enter the fray. You two must be in constant contact with each other. Maybe you could ask Bruce to put in his two cents worth, along with a few words of wisdom from Marvin. Life is good and even better when you are able to share it with your alter ego ‘friends’.

HJ,
would that be the Cookeville Herald Citizen or the Mt. Airy Herald Citizen?

Tim

Mt.Airy, MD has “Messenger” and “Gazette”, but certainly no “Herald Citizen” or John Josef Sauer; that one is a fairy tale in Mt. Airy.

Let me put it this way; I'll bet you the Dollar bill that you won from Buffington (frame and all) that there are three Jack Barton's in this area. All with the same middle initial and all voting age. :D

Wadda ya say?

“Otherwise known as”
Tim.
Jack,
You missed your calling. You should have been a comedian.
Ralph

Paul and Tim,

Of course I was “having a bit of fun”. I simply find those kinds of speculation great fun and couldn’t help feeding the fires. I didn’t mean to offend.
And I assure you I haven’t exchanged any e-mails with either of the other gentleman in weeks. That is the tactic of a different “gang”. It is just the time of day when people are hanging around.

Jack

Jack I know all that already, so what’s your point?

The question is do any of them, other than you, reside on Ju… and were born in Ju… '43
BTW I meant to ask you, does Jack Barton II mean a follow-up series or the position in the line-up? With that many Jack Barton in town it could get tricky!

PS It is absolutely amazing what is in the public domain and readily accessible, if only one knows where to look!

Jack,
I certainly took no offence. I enjoy a little verbal sparring, although it certainly seems like John is your ‘shadow’. The reality is that both of you constantly post together, so assuming some form of collusion, is not too far fethched. The same could be said of others ‘colluding’, however, if one takes a look at John’s last posting, the grammar is more to your ‘standard’. Of course it may be a simple case of plagurism from a published text.

Amen! But it's best done at at the public library. Wouldn't want to end up like your buddy Warren. He thought he was computer clever, like you! Oh what a trail those hard drive's leave. I won't even do a map-quest of prime locations from home.

Jack,

“My buddy Warren” is a bit of a suuuuuuuuper stretch, but I guess if geographical vicinity counts the only closer buddy was/is Steve. As far as being computer savvy is concerned, it all depends if one is into nefarious stuff i.e. organizing a SPAM campaign aimed at a bank or OTOH participating on a few fora discussing hobby topics - by your posts on the different fora I’d say you’re not very good at the latter. Is that because you’re so busy brushing over that which will not be changed i.e. Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk oHG had to declare insolvency and Märklin was awarded the EPL assets they were bidding for??

And that “stellar, unblemished” reputation of the LGBoA Service department took quite a hit, what Bryan wrote is just the latest installment, won’t be the last either! Of course there were plenty of other instances, the only difference was the combined forces of Ventilators and Red Box Brigade would usually ride to the rescue and drown the not-so-stellar reports with the usual “red noise” (no, that’s not the same as “white noise”!)
Sheesh imagine your buddy Marvin won’t be able to go “dumpster diving” at Nancy Ridge anymore. That was one whopper of a good tale, always made me wonder how they came up with that scenario; that took more than the usual imagination!

BTW there is good News out of Germany as far as repairs and such are concerned.

From the photos we've seen of the track and cars being built in Hungary it's a darn good thing!

So glad to read both Jack and Marvin are acquiring a sense of humour … sure took long enough!
