LGB Repair time!

... I won't be seeing the ad since I allowed my subscription to expire. (Kevin talks about liking smaller layouts, as I do, but GR never shows any.)
The featured railroads have been on the smaller side recently. Dutton Foster's line (a few months ago) is rather tiny, and this month's feature is similarly space-constricted. Just my observation; I have no editorial control beyond what I write.

Besides, you can always pick it up on the newsstand.

... Do you take the expiration to be 1 Jan 2012 or 31 Dec 2012?
The ad says "into 2012." Your guess is as good as mine.

20 pages whood a thunk it??? you guys run out of gas? This is the first time in a long time i’ve come on the site and only one post on this thread??? you guys going soft, or just run out of GAS no pun intended!!! The Regal

Jerry, you state that this is the first time in a long time that you have visited the site and yet on Jun 28th at 09.34 MST you made a similar comment as regards the content of this thread and on June 25th at 10.39 MST, you commented on a Bachmann plug’n’play board. You knew the gist of the thread but you had to return a few days later and make a meaningless comment. You know what the thread is about, why bother returning and commenting?

Well Marvin, you could always follow McMore-on's lead and absent yourself in a huff :P :P :P. You know the "Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!" saying :D. BTW air conditioning has a calming effect, too  . It has been so "nice and hot" up here, I had to revert to changing gears and doing some work inside, even working in the shade was hot. In any case, forget about the stiff upper lip, keep smiling!

Sometimes I think you do more namecalling than my 7 year old.

Chances are, since he is your 7 year old(???), I've come up with a few new ones that he probably hasn't heard about.

Catchy slogans, witty names,
it is fun to play those games.

Imagination and reinterpretation
sure beat crummy imitation.

Careful my friend if you cross him you'll end up as something like Steve Featherbrain!! Or he'll just start calling you by someone else's name like he does me.

That is excellent, Marvin! Now we all get to watch how many spelling mistakes you can make with the moniker, the count presently stands at "1"

LGB Repair time???

1 send it to Marklin in Germany…
2 find some body here that can…
3 fix it your self…
4 throw it away…
5 wait until 2012…
6 do not use them, instead display them…

IMHO that covers it!!

7 be patient   (without duration attached)

Yes be patient. Eventually the investment group will get things together and sell thier IPO to someone who wants to produce trains (not make a quick buck).

Do you have proof of that hypothetical eventuality? Or is that mere speculation?
