Well in that case how about his perspicacity?
Surely the “spirits” could not affect that?

Larry, I respectfully suggest you just "wait until next week" to find out exactly what that acrimony might be.
HJ, Marklin did contract with Walthers to handle their non-LGB products. They also handle competing products. I think that there is too much acrimony between Marklin and LGBoA for them to work together. LAO
Hi Larry.
It sure would be interesting to find out.
Rumours abound.
Best to wait until it is all in the public domain.
Rest assured the German media will publish if there is anything to publish.
Larry,
all of what is currently known was made public in Nurnberg press releases (2005/2006/2007) and those insolvency releases issued by the court appointed receiver, post 2006. If you think that there is any 'speculation in these releases then you obviously did not take the time to read them. All public knowlege in the public domain. Basically the unknown quantity is the fine print on the LGBoA transfer, supposed worldwide distribution rights and ownership of brandname title outside of Germany and, fine print on the invoice sent with the product shipped just prior to LGBoA changing hands. This was not simply a company going into receivership. The writing was on the wall and the company was assisted in its slide into obscurity, much as LGBoA is now being killed off. Complicity in a Schontag write off is the only speculation to date. LGBoA had the money to bid on Marklin yet allowed the Schontag bid to fail, by not supporting it.
The banks who held the credit documents for EPL made it known that they were disgusted with EPL for disposing of assets and this directly lead to the banks forclosing on their credit extension to EPL. Bear in mind that the original bank that held the credit for EPL had already extended lines of credit since 2004 to help EPL with their financial problems. Disposing of LGBoA was the final straw. But then you already know all this, don't you!

HJ, Tony W and Curlymudgeon- so nice to see the three of you working together again!
Three giant wind turbines would have worked just as good, ROFLMAO
Tim,
Don’t be silly, the Ventilators never bothered to read either the originals or the translations done by yours truly. There was no need to, they were, and still are, spoonfed “the real facts”.
If one considers/believes/entertains that the banks forced all those loans on EPL, then made them hire all those consultants in order to justify even more loans, also made sure that EPL would have a water tight marketing scheme for all those licenced products and recommended the best lawyers in order to circumnavigate the tricky legal shoals of German law … well in that case one could have applied for an upper management position at the Schmidt Bank, a consultancy at EPL, a position as the care taker of the LGB yachts or … well the sky’s the limit.
If OTOH one read the numerous background materials which are in the public domain regarding this sorry mess one would perhaps come to the conclusion that this wasn’t a “Holy Moses, what a surprise!” affair. There will always be rubes, visually impaired and Ventilators! The first two have a handicap, the last are a handicap!

Good show Marvin! Where did you steal that picture? Doing the plagiarist this week, are you? It’s a good thing you are so harmless, given some comprehension and wit you could be mildly entertaining. And then what would we do?
HJ, It’s aso funny to see you calling someone else a “ventilator” when you appear to be the LGB/LgboA Rumor mill Blow hard president
Mark Dash said:Hey Mark, wind turbines are strictly the domain of the Ventilators and Marvin (in any of his many incarnations) is #2 - Numero Uno belongs to "The Original Ventilator" aka The Kollektor - proofing once more that Marvin is always second best, doesn't matter which hierarchy. Even as a "Dumpster Diver" he didn't make the big times. ;) :) :P It's strictly ADATC.

You can beat on me as much as you want but it’s nice to hear that others are as tired of listening to your BS as I am Moe , ooops- I mean HJ! ;);):):):):):):):):):)

That’s where you’re sadly mistaken - not an unusual position for Ventilators - when it comes to those matters I like to stick with the published facts in the public domain. That is a big thorn in the Ventilators’ sides, especially since some of them used to delight in feeding highly contentious material - supposedly straight from their German source - in the vain hope that someone would be silly enough and quote that garbage, only to be caught with his pants down considering the source.
Nice try and very entertaining, but the Ventilators would need to get up much earlier to make that crap believable. That’s a tall order even if they’re on the East Coast.
BTW the English and the German used in those emails had some similarity to your grasp of either or both languages. It is all good and well, if one mixes up good and well.
Careful Mark or he’ll come up with a catchy insult name for you too!
Hey JJ.
How about you say something useful for a change?
Perhaps refuting what Tim posted above would be enlightening?
Do you refute what he says?
HJ,
it is certainly a shame that those like Mark who does not even have a ticket in the raffle, likes to comment on something he was not even around in forums at the time it happened. However, Mark obviously has a secret past life and does enjoy abusing people, like some of the ‘other side’. Pity that he and others who say STFU!!! do not read back over postings on this forum and others as to what was going on two years ago. There is a saying that where there is smoke there is fire. Well, this fire is still smoking really well, so something is ‘fanning’ it and I do not mean a ventilator fan.
I like how those of less than average intelligence resort to name calling to press their point, but then guard dogs are not bred for their intelligence, merely their bark and possibly their bite (although to date, lots of barking and little actual bite).
JJS,
pity you did not include a photo of the Marx brothers as I could have been the fourth brother (the handsome one). Your turn.

Sorry - Almost forgot about the fourth one

JJS,
thankyou. You reserved the suave sophisticated member for me. I thank you. While I preferred Curley as the really funny one, Shep will do as a good substitute. Remember, however, that Curley and Shep are like Superman and Clark Kent - both are never seen at the same time. Marx brothers was a better analogy. I appreciate the compliment.
Hey Marvin, will you ever learn how to post pictures or is that just beyond you? Or are you trying to stress the point that you’re a bit short in the comprehension department? Don’t worry, that has been obvious for a long time … along with your feisty disposition. Did you inherit that? It’s part of your bloodlines, is it?
Sorry Moe!
