Large Scale Central

Let me jump on the bandwagon

Ken, looks good, almost like it’s been there for years…

<well, cept for the plywood roof>
and it’s about time they re-roofed that engine house anyway, it was starting to leak.

hehehe

That engine house is a lot bigger than I thought, when it was put next to the track. Looks great!

Ken,

Do you plan to put a wood floor in it and detail it, or just leave it as a gravel floor?

Ken,

A beautiful job! That whole area is looking great. Is that the same coal tower you used before? I’ve always admired it.

Ken,

Looks great. I have got to find time to come up and see yout layout.

Karl

Steve, It’ll stay a gravel floor. The weather around here is not conducive to a lot of detail.

Richard, yes, that’s the same coaling tower that I had on the previous layout as is the sand house. It’s modeled somewhat on the one in Chama, NM.

one half of the roof is done. The rest of the veneer sheets are backordered as is the v-groove siding for the doors.

Looking real good Ken

Finally! A roof…now the shop crews want a raise! Sheesh, will it never end?

Ken,

That turned out real nice. I think you did a great choice on the roof.

Thanx Ric…good thing about them is they come in 16" squares…that covers a lot of area…

Ken, It looks simply wonderful… It’s acutally been sitting on the layout for a few years and your just now getting around to sending out pictures of it, huh…

I found the “De-Cloaking” button…
