We arrived at the Lancaster KOA Wednesday afternoon. Plan to meet with Hollywood and Bev Brunt around 9 tomorrow morning. Trying to get this all figured out. Look forward to seeing all of you.

Roger that, Rooster.

And I’m glad to also see that your she-ass is Euro safety certified.

CE marking is a certification mark that indicates conformity with health, safety, and environmental protection standards for products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Thanks for getting this going!

Yes, thank you Ric and Hollywood!

Thank you Pete for putting this up in chat

And the long weekend begins. Looking forward to seeing those who can find it in them to come out and help reminisce on memories of fellowship with friends. Come get a small reminder of Ken and share a couple hours with those we all have not seen in a couple years.

Should we bring any tools, etc?

A strong back to lift the sections if we do cut it up :sunglasses: :innocent:

Well, carp! I seem to have left my strong back about 20 years ago…

Thank you, all that can be there…There are a number of us up here in Ottawa, who sincerely want to be there, to honour the memory of OUR great friend Ken, but unfortunately can’t be there.
Please pass on our deepest condolences to Bev, and family, on our behalf.

You havent lived until you move a 60# sack of cement wrong and it puts you on your back for a week.

Like my dentist says…
“If you’re over 50 and you wake up with NO pain, then you’re DEAD”

Why are you listening to your Dentist about such matters? :astonished:

And, landed. Got to the hotel about half an hour ago. About to shower and then think about finding something to eat.

See you in a few, Bob.

Because his proctologist wasn’t making any sense at all.

Well, it was the echo.

Been a great first day. Ric and Hollywood have done a great job teeing things up. They spent the morning clearing out and organizing, getting cars and locos set out for viewing / purchasing, with me helping at times and hindering at others.

There are plenty of excellent R/C locos to buy, many cars, and a mountain of code 255 aluminum track – much of which is long sections of flex (~5’), with NG plastic ties.

What does a proctologist know about cataract surgery anyway.
