Kit-Bashing Old Pola Buildings, updates as I go

Hope you figure on using some interior walls for support. I see you have jumped into construction projects with both feet.

What glue are you using?

Nothing wrong a little (or a lot of) glue and paint can’t solve.

Some guys have all the luck

Agreed, that was a great deal.

LAwn and Garden Goop…Offical Adhesive of The Bartwerks…

Nice and quick fixes on the buildings Boomer. I guess this means we won’t be seeing minor details like nail holes and knots in the wood siding ?

Once dry I will drill some drain holes at the back of the building.

Ooh water letter outers!!!

Great post !

Boomer, nice work… Happy 4th…

What kind of hail do you get in those parts, I’d be kinda worried about that flat plastic if you get anything bigger than pea size hail in your area.

The Engine House looks great, some guys have all the luck.

Boomer, great job on the ABG bridge and rehab of the old building kits. Now that Trains West is gone, where do you get GT supplies in ABQ? I live in Taos and am rebuilding my railroad and have had to rely on long trips to Denver…sucks, either that or mail order.

Kewl …you need to build the guy to the right of the garage door as well

That definitely brightens things a bit. Nice paint job Boomer.

I like the details

Looking good. Nice to have so many pieces to work with. Gives you alot of options.

Great job Boomer -

I have several complete Pola buildings that were a gift from across the street neighbor and a pile of parts another neighbor dropped off a few years ago. Someday I might get around to doing something with them. A few of the complete ones live on the indoor layout, but most are just stored.

I like them Boomer

Boomer, great Job…

Those look great Boomer. Need a job? I’m looking for help at the sign shop!

Awesome job, Boomer! The building looks great. Oh, and the green chili cheeseburger looks good, too!
