Love that radiator shop!
Nice work Boomer
Sweet!
Never mind, slow tablet.
I don’t know, what brings the cowboys and shepherds to town?
The only things that brings Cowboys and Shepherds to town is Moonshine and woman.
Looks good Boomer.
Nicely done Boomer. I would also like to add that you have blown the caveman moniker with the new rebuilds
Very nice rehab’s on those structures Boomer.
Boomer, a great job. Has given me ideas for a copy of the original kit I’ve never assembled. The original was built by a fellow in Las Vegas, NM. I think they were called Gifts to the Garden. He made a number of really neat kits. I don’t think he’s in business anymore, family issues if I remember. Warren Hatch (Trains West) originally sold them. I bought two, and assembled the first one and placed it outside for a few years. Held up fairly well, but started to dissolve in our weather. Brought it in this past winter and reassembled it
And very carefully sealed it again. Hopeful it will hold up a few years more. I’m ready to work on the other building
(Like yours), and I think will adapt some of your ideas, especially the pitched roof. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic Job, Boomer…
Nice Boomer. You can send them my way
I’m liking it Boomer!
Boomer,
That is a huge improvement on the coal loader. Look forward to detailed pictures of the assembled, completed structure. Looks great!
Nicely done Boomer.
Boomer refers to Hydro-stone in a post above.
There is a similar product for outdoor use for making garden ornaments… It is a type of Plaster of Paris, weatherproof and extremely hard wearing.
In the UK it is called CASSINI’S OUTDOOR PLASTER OF PARIS.
Weatherproof, frost resistant plaster-of-Paris
- Ideal for all garden and outdoor work
- Plaques, statues, ornaments, friezes, water features, etc.
I suspect the same thing under a different name available in the US and might be of use to railmen.
It looks a lot better than cement.
Nice work. I like what you’ve done with what might have been thrown away by some.
Good job on that thing…
Nicely done Boomer.
Great work, Boomer.
